"Quick, say something nice"

LOL

That definitely added a nice touch to the article.

Manziel might need a stool to see his receivers or he can sit on his RB shoulder to throw the ball over his linemen....

Lets be honest here, it really doesn't matter who the starter is in Cleveland.

I can't laugh at this. This might as well be a pre-Flacco Ravens jersey. Heck, Dilfer would be on there, too. :D

So what?  I don't care about the browns or what happens to them whatsoever!

It's a good job it's in the "Other NFL Teams" forum then. :D

If that were Flacco, Hardbaugh would be tearing him a new one. Instead, he gets a Yahoo! writer defending him.

The media wants this kid to succeed so badly because his antics will always give them something to write about. I'm not sure Gronk is a good role model for any NFL player either.

So does this mean we will stop seeing headlines about RG-III and what he got in the mail today or what kind of jam he had on his toast ?

Probably not, his stupid logo took espn by storm.  I like calling him RG-Me

Exactly. After they tried so hard with Tebow they are now going to ride Johnny's jock in hopes he doesn't fail like Tebow.

I'm afraid I have some bad news for them............

You unsuccessfully tried to make Tebow better than he played, and didn't succeed. Now with Johnny, you will try again but like Tebow will fail miserably.

Let's be real. Instead of partying he should be learning the playbook so he can show he can be the guy who can lead the Browns to victory and not Hoyer. He needs to learn the playbook so that when camp comes around, he can show how much more of a grasp he has on the playbook over Hoyer. Don't be surprised if we see headlines of him being late to camp on Mondays because he was out partying the night before.

Yeah, I think Manziel still has some immaturity. He was just drafted to be the future of the team and he's in vegas the first chance he has? After taking reps with the 3rd team in OTAs?

When you start a job, you don't ask for time off the next week. It might not mean you're a bad worker but it just doesn't look good.

Im no manziel fan but he is still kinda young. He's not married, why not enjoy life. I'd swear some of you were never young. It is also technically his off time isn't it?

Personally I'm all about letting the players enjoy their lives and I think his "partying attitude as an off-field issue" is overblown in general. But that sad, if that were Joe I'd be disappointed he wasn't learning the playbook and using the time to build chemistry with his WRs.

He's just started out and there's a good chance he'll be facing the Steelers defence on debut and the Ravens in round three. I'd be wanting my QB to be putting themselves in the best situation to not get lit up.

The more Manziel parties it up, the happier I am. I'm glad he's not wasting his time with things like learning playbooks, getting acclimated with his new teammates, training like a demon, or heck, just watching some tape.

This is the guy that some people said made Mike Evans look good....LOL! I just thank god we only see Evans once every four years. It's almost as good as getting to face Manziel twice a year.

I think Manziel still doesn't know what kind of defense he is about to go up against with.

I'm pretty sure the picture of Mark Sanchez butt fumbles will be reincarnating in Manziel.....

The rest of his life hinges on how he performs as the most important professional sports player in Cleveland. Not how much fun he has in Vegas. Enjoy life when the offseason starts. Enjoy life when failing to learn a new playbook won't cost you millions. Enjoy life when you retire at 35. Not 2 weeks into your pro career.

I don't mind players enjoying their time off, but I remember watching Gruden's QB camp and all Johnny could say was that he never wanted all the attention, but then he goes to Vegas with Pauly D and company.

Exactly. Hypocritical of him to do that and shows that he does want the spotlight. He wants the fame that comes along with playing in the NFL, which to him he doesn't care about as long as he is spotted by the paparazzi somewhere partying. Cleveland should keep him benched until he goes one off-season without partying and can show dedication to the team.

If he can't do that, he wasted Texas A & M's recruiters and their football team's time. He wasted all the time NFL teams took to scout him and visit him. Most importantly he wasted away the Browns time to draft him. If Manziel does end up the starter, he will get a big head. Show he is comitted to playing football, not being the center of a party. Gronkowski same way, he has a HOF QB throwing to him and instead of focusing on the playbook trying to get Brady another ring, he is also worried about partying.

The place is also about 10 minutes away from where Hoyer grew up in Lakewood, Ohio.

I didn't realize drinking off an inflatable swan was a thing to do.  The antics of neanderthals surpass even my wildest ideas.

Why do people care so much about his personal life?

Seriously. It's not like we haven't seen stories with Jacoby like the party bus last yr.

If manziel performs the partying is a bigger non issue.
