[News] Todd Heap Going Into Ravens Ring of Honor

One of the fan favorites throughout his years here in Baltimore. Sure handed, and was there when you needed him most. I wish he got to play with a decent quarterback during his time here though.

I still name him as my alltime favourite Raven.

You know what's funny? The Ravens have always been known for their top-notch defense - and now, with Heap, there are gonna be 3 defensive players (Ray, McCrary and Boulware) and 4 offensive players (Ogden, Stover, Jamal Lewis and Heap) on the Ring of Honor (yeah, Stover officially is a special teamer - but I consider kickers as part of the offense - after all, most of the times the kicker is the top scorer of the teams)... That's a bit ironic IMHO.

Won't last long though, as Ed Reed will soon join, and although Mason may give the O the edge once again, sooner or later Ngata and Suggs (and maybe Jarett Johnson?) will restore the D's dominance on the Ring of Honor :)

Love a guy who will run at full speed for 30 yards, then dive face first into the ground, outstretched, just to maybe, hopefully, finger tip an errant pass from Kyle Boller.

Hats off to Heeaaap! His is one of the few authentic jerseys that I own. They are too damn expensive! If we had consistent QB play over his career, his numbers would be in line with the greats. Good guy. Congratulations.

PS- Andre Johnson wants out of Houston. Just saying.

BR.com needs to post some highlights of Heap's awesome plays as well as his scenes from the HBO Special Hard Knocks when he was a Rookie.

Amazing, that rookie out of Arizona State standing in the Ravens cafeteria, holding his tray and getting picked on by Goose...

...Now, almost fifteen-years later, being inducted into the Ring Of Honor.

Our little man grew up so fast.
