Ravens UDFA's 2014

A few videos, only a couple on YouTube. Saw a few yesterday after searching for a bit but I'm having trouble finding them

I couldn't find a thing on him, and that disappoints me a little after how many calls he apparently got.

Stats say he had 33 tackles and 1 INT last year. Might have said he was a costarter as well.

Yeah he wasn't a full-time starter, read that yesterday

Xavius Boyd has a Great shot at making this team. Jackson got more attention, but Boyd was the better LB at WKU.

I'm also excited for Terrance Bullitt. He has a chance to convert to strong safety imo and be a Kam Chancellor type.

I like them both as well.  Boyd would be really good as a WLB if we're actually making that switch.

I really like what I've seen from him so far. I noticed they were calling him a linebacker and safety. Do you think he'd be able to play SS at such a high weight of 230 pounds?

If we don't get Roberson, Seamster looks to be a great project CB. He's got the measurables. I like to think he and Hurst are almost locks to make the final roster. I think we could take a rookie punter over Koch as well.

im hoping Orr is too, from what i see he looks like he can really play and be leader in the locker room

It's probably a battle between him and Bynes

Bring in Lyerla

I'm torn. I don't want to touch his type of guy, but he could be a great player.

well ya i wouldn't doubt it we draft some bum qb from the draft. We could of drafted a skilled cb, even tho we only had 4 on the roster, we could of got that bum qb in UDFA instead of trying to fight with other teams for this cbs that have potential. In Ozzie I trust im jus saying that was clearly the smarter route for the team it's a passing league, You need good cbs to survive now a days

iunno why u guys are hating on the post when im speaking the truth, your saying you guys wouldn't want, Exum, Roberson, Purifoy,Reynolds or Michele over the qb we drafted, Come now, any of those cbs could have put up a good fight for the third cb spot. Passing on those players was a mistake. The qb we draft won't help are team at all. We had one more cbs than we qbs on the team and usually the third cb is on the field with ONE backup cb, COME ON NOW Get Real

The fact that the rest of the league pasted seven+ times on Reynolds, Purifoy, and Roberson says something. i think Weinning is a solid backup unlike Taylor. We signed an interesting prospect in Sammy Seamster that could work out for us and I thik we sign/trade for another guy if we don't trust Chykie/Jackson.

"it's a passing league" you need depth at QB, all QBs on the roster need to be able to throw and as much as i love Tyrod as an athlete, he can't

please refrain from calling any player a "bum" before ever seeing them play in the NFL, you know the cliche'd 6th round QB, just because he was taken late doesnt mean he's a bum, and just because a CB was drafted doesnt mean they'll be good, we have 2 fantastic CBs, Brown has starting experience and Asa has had flashes

He's a bum compared to the Cbs we could have gotten. If we wanted a good backup Qb we could of got Boyd, the kid that throw to Sammy Watkins, now he's a winner. All im saying is i don't like that we took a qb when there was more other talented skilled players at other positions including Cbs where there are real ones at the position. If Joe goes down u think where going to the playoffs with the qb we drafted......... No sir

I agree. No harm in bringing him in now. I doubt Harbs does it. He doesn't like guys like Colt.

I'm not. Sign him if we can. He's a risk, but I'd rather take the risk. Nobody will start snorting because of Colt Lyerla.

I agree, honestly. I like Wenning, but I would have rather had a CB who will likely make an impact on the team. There are many instances of late-round CBs panning out compared to late-round QBs.

We really don't need either, but after Tyrod's play against NE, we need to try to find someone else to backup Joe.

That dosent mean anything, didn't Richard Sherman get passed on, Brent Grimmes went drafted. Those good Cbs that got passed on and look what they turned out to be.

that the exception rather than the norm. You definitely have to worry about Purifoy, he's a basketcase. He got arrested with bath salts like a month before the draft.

that's exactly what a mean we potentially passed on a impact cb to get a back qb . Theres has been tons of late rds cbs that have proven to been solid players. im not hating on ozzie im jus giving my opinion

Wow I love Bullitt's size and instincts against the run.

I'd be on board with bringing in Lyerla. Why not?

We can still get Roberson, Hampton, or Purifoy.

That's true, but how likely is Wenning really going to help us if Joe goes down? I doubt he will save our season. A third CB could very well do that, because that's a starter here.

I'm not set in stone against it, but I just feel he burns us at the end, kinda like Hernendez did to the Patriots (maybe not murder bad, but ypou get the point)

We have Chykie and Asa. Both would be better #3's than a rookie 6th round pick. Weinning could at least give us some assurance if Joe goes down.

Just don't re-sign him, then. That's all. He won't burn us unless we invest big money into him, and I doubt that happens unless he had a "Coming to Jesus" moment.

There have been more cases where late-round CBs make an impact than late-round QBs. That's the point. I'm not that impressed by Chykie and Asa is a complete unknown outside of preseason. Chykie is a free agent after this season and Asa is untested in the regular season and is close to an annual ban. Granted, that may be a moot point but it's still a possibility.

I think we roll with Chykie and Asa this year. We let Chykie want and if Asa does well, we target a CB 3rd to 5th and if JAckson does bad, we target one 1st-2nd.
