Ravens UDFA's 2014

Why did Brandon Coleman and Antonio Richardson fall so far?

Also we've been linked to Mike Davis prior , I recognize that name.

The knock on Brandon is his inconsistancy and small hands and Richardson was his lack of lateral movement and also, small hands.

He was a really good player without it before last season

Yeah I agree. I evaluated Sutton more on his 2012 tape that his 2013 tape with the expectation that he trims down. I think he bulked up since he was considered undersized but lost a lot of his explosiveness because of it. If he can get back to his 2012 playing weight, he is going to be a really good player.

Richardson wouldn't have fell this far without something truly career-ending terrible about his knees. Coleman is just a huge wr that has catching inconstiencty

We got faith in Jackson and Brown, somehow

i really really like Asa, he's shown flashes, but those suspensions have hindered him, Chykie has played well too - hes inconsistent but he's serviceable

Dude I was very anti-Lyerla, but in UDFA what is the risk?

i don't want a guy like that anywhere near our locker room.

Spot on. They just need to play at #3 CB level.

I would like Lyerla as a UDFA.  With the leadership in our locker room he could become a great asset.  I am not a big fan of Gilmore.

Watch Gilmore, I think he is a great future #2 to Pitta.

They're different players anyway.  His athletic potential is too high to ignore in UDFA.  A guy like that has no clout and can't be a corrupting influence in the locker room.  It's like Da'Rick Rogers last year.

Yep, Coke Lyerla is still out there.

I have faith but four CBs in today's NFL is ridiculous.

Rodger didn't have half the problems Lyerla has.

We shall get another guy, somewhere. Maybe some of our many backup safeties switch to CB?

I imagine we'll be on the lookout for a vet FA at some point.

I watched a lot of film on Gilmore and yes he might become a good TE.  I just wish he was faster, I don't think he will be able to get open with nfl level players

He will block and truck people, while Pitta is faster and more finesse.

Speed isnt everything. Michael huff is a good example of that.

They were pretty close actually, his major character concerns were what dropped him out of the draft.  I grant you Lyerla's are more serious though.

Cocaine is a serious problem and will he really stop it?

i definitely believe Asa is more than capable of holding down that spot, if no one else is signed then that'll be a camp battle to watch

Yes, its not exactly something you can just 'quit'. Plus you are going to give the guy more money than he ever had.

Terrell thomas or Asante Samuel could be targets

Let's think positive.  At least he'll be alert and awake for game days.
