Ok like our 3rd pick. I don't hate our first pick just wanted Dennard more. So with that said I would love that Desir kid out of the small school next. Would be a nice CB. If not I like Terrence West also. The Jernigan pick still concerns me.

Dummerville-Suggs- Upshaw- DSmith- Arthur Brown- Mosley- Jon Simon and Bynes at LB and then Webby-Chykie-Jimmy-Elam -Stewart adn TBrooks in the DBackfield... We are building one heck of a defense!

That young one they started last year is real.  And effective.  Did you see him play at all?  They got game.

I think i just saw something where they have made a trade with the Patriots for Ryan Mallett

I'd say this is a pressing need, with the loss of Art Brown and Ngata's decline in recent years. This is just what we need to bolster our Dline for years to come. The games are won up front, and we didnt pressure the opposing QB consistently. This should be a solid pick up.

Yeah, they had some chances to get a young starting QB to build their offense around for a lot of years.  I hope for them, that Yates, or whoever they have to play at QB comes through, not that I like Hous. except for the good players they've given us over the last 4 years or so.

Anyone remember last year when our offense got the lead and our defense couldn't hold it? Devastating results. Going defense is the future of this franchise right now. I like the picks.

I remember playing a lot of bad offense and compromising our defense. Not that I'm unhappy with the picks, but I don't think the blame for last year goes on the defense.

I think the coaches will determine the lineup, not you. If our draft picks bother you so much go root for Oakland.

lol the standard "i really dont have a good point here so im jsut gonna tell you to root for [insert random weak team here]" reponse.

that never gets old.

I'm not determining anything...if observable reality bothers you so much, stick to fantasy football.

In the real world, teams (including ours) dont switch their whole defensive line out every other minute.

this whole "we keep a rotation" excuse is just a way for half of you to feel comfortable about the fact that we have superfluous linemen wasting roster space while our Receiver "rotation" doesnt exist, and our O line isnt even complete. You dont need that many linemen for a rotation...thats why we cut Spears last season and still couldnt find room on the field for some of the other backups.

The only thing that bothers me about this Jernigan is that Robinson and Adams was still there. But, it does fill a need since the Ravens lost Jones and Ngata will be gone next year.

I agree.  The entire team was responsible.  If just one of those games had gone the other way they might have been in the playoffs and gone all the way.  That is until Flacco got injured and played gimpy after Detroit.  The NE fiasco was telling though about our defense.  And it was not up to par last season.  12 overall I believe.  Like I said I agree the offense was nothing to write home about with an overall rating of 29 out of 32 teams.  Part was due to purge after SB, injury to Pita then J Jones and green OL.  Not to mention questionable coaching in some areas.  I think Kubiak will force more out of these codgers this year though.  At least I hope so.

Well if you don't pick 'em they're going to go somewhere else. Terrence West goes to Cleveland to join Manziel and they're having a good draft.

Except they passed on Sammy Watkins and now Josh Gordon is gone for the year.....

Sad to see West go, especially to the browns.. irked with that one. However that cb Keith Mcgill is still available, wouldn't mind seeing him picked up. Great size and potential (6'3 I believe), maybe we could kick webby into the slot if we pick him up?

Especially as a Towson Alum, I really wanted Terrance West. Or at least to be able to root for him. But if he's on the Browns, then obviously I can't. What a disappointment. :(

Maybe even Cameron Fleming at RT with our 3rd round comp pick? Listed as the 49th best layer on Gil Brandt's board, excellent run blocker with room to improve as a pass blocker, lots of upside..
