So.... the NFL has yet to announce their decision regarding Josh Gordon. Gordon's appeal ended 8 days ago and the league hasn't announced anything. Already the NFL has hurt Gordon by delaying the decision. Whenever it is announced and it stays a one year suspension, it means he will be suspended until August 2015. Meaning he won't be able to participate in the off-season program or training camp next season.

There are consequences for pissing on someone's graves: direct or indirect, tangible or intangible....

PS: What a waste for such a beastly talented player.  I thought he will be the next Megatron but too bad he's on the Browns.......

This is very good news for the us Ravens fans! Please don't pity Josh Gordon.

In my opinion, I'm hoping they reduce his suspension down to 8 games. He doesn't deserve to sit out an entire year due to marijuana. I know the DUI he got while waiting for his appeal won't help but this country is coming around in terms of legalizing marijuana and that alone should not give Gordon a year suspension.

Isn't he being suspended for that long due to being a 3-peat offender and not necessarily because of pot?

18 days later..............

If the NFL doesn't rule on him before the regular season, he should be able to suit up in week one and play as long as they don't make a ruling. I know they will make a decision but this is getting crazy.

Update: Adam Schefter says a decision has been made but they just need to decide when to issue it.

Stupid

I say if they don't make a decision and Week one arrives, then he should be able to play as much into the regular season until the suspension hits.

Or maybe since it's so close, maybe the league will allow him to play this season and serve his suspension next season.
