Wow......what is happening on this site? Complaining about the pick, taking shots at Ozzie.....disappointment everywhere.....amazing to me. I realize this is an opinion site......but who are these negative people, and why are they Raven fans?

I'm waiting till the draft is over, before I evaluate the draft.....all you soto GM's need to chill for a day or so.....let play out.

it's lookin like a competition between darian stewart and omar brown aka baby ed reed

Stewart is much more a SS, and dunno about Omar Brown, but the guy had 3 seasons to prove himself and it never happened - although last season we had a natural SS at FS... that kinda doesn't sound like promising news on Baby Reed...

But I'd be more than happy if this season he finally made it.

Ozzie you can trade to go back to the 1st round round a make sure we get Jimmie Ward before someone else does.

We only have 3 tradable pick this draft - well, 2, because we've spent the first rounder. Honestly, I don't think we'll spend two of those on a trade...

But also, I'm not part of the draft team, so there...

I had a feeling we would pick Mosley. I wanted Pryor ward or Buchanan but our front office knows more then me. Not sure if we're going to get a starting safety in this draft if we don't get ward.

It's all because you people only know the short version of the mantra: "In Ozzie We Trust." The full version is: "In Ozzie We Trust - As Long As He Does What We Think Is Good."

This is a great pick and it will show. Mosley is a player that will play immediately. Most likely not as a starter but I wouldn't count him out. Now there is some legitimate competition between he and Arthur Brown.

I am not knocking the pick of Mosley but do believe we could have drafted him a few places later. The way the draft is going I would have preferred to have drafted back with the 49ers to gain either both their 3rd round picks or their 2nd plus.

@ j.o.14: Once I saw all the OTs gone I figured it would be a defensive player (Dix, Pryor or Mosley) FO said you can never have too many CB or ILB and for whatever reason they passed on the Safetys. They look at more film than I do and I trust them. I'm excited as well.

Please watch that and tell me how this is a bad pick?

Honestly my dream was Odell Beckham Jr. or Mike Evans but those dreams were squashed pretty quickly and CJ Mosely is no bad consolation. In fact he's too good to be a consolation prize. :)

I love how all these fair weather RAVENS fans are hating. I love the pick, BPA, in ozzie I trust. Just like Jonathan Ogden...he wasnt a need pick but look how he turned out for us

That was an awful team. Ogden was an obvious, unbelievable talent that you couldn't pass on. Also, it was one time. Name me another time we drafted a guy when we were set at that position and had glaring needs at others. Especially lately. Reed, Suggs, Ngata, Flacco. All need picks.

Getting the best player at his position and starter at 17 I could live with that, plus Pitts looks like they are going back to their smash mouth running game again with Bell and Blount so him and Daryl will keep us stout in the middle.

So, you're implying you know better than our entire draft team?

Please, tell us why.

oh please... i just gave you my point and logic, now prove what i said was wrong. show me the logic outside of oh the professionals know better than we do logic  .. bc if thats the case theres no reason for us to state our opinions or have such forum. but please explain this move as well as i broke down why is didnt make sense, im sure you can do the same

I'm fairly sure Ozzie is or has talked to prospects some maybe not even the draft to fill voids that we don't know about. Take a look at some of the Ravens undrafted talent picks in years past to see what I mean. We cannot know the big picture as fans. I recommend all relax and let the front office do it's job.

Maybe - but our next guaranteed chance to draft him would have been not a "few places later", but 32 places later. And if you have a chance to draft a player that's in your top 10 (and based on what they said, Mosley was in opur top 10), you probably don't risk a lot...
