Stupid pick. Ha-Ha, Pryor, Dennard sitting there. Just plain dumb. Ozzie needs to get off the linebacker bandwagon and or retire. JPS.

Folks, this is a good FS class-- Ozzie may be in love with Buchanon, or Brooks. Both can be had later

Maybe you are Right, But I still say we could have waited on the ILB, we still have Josh Bynes to back up Smith and Smith.. I hope Ozzie still has the Magic, Cuz we still have needs, @ OL, S, WR, TE, RB, and CB... ILB could have waited i still say

I love the negative comments. Keep them coming. The way we are biased for Bama we will move up to get Cyrus Kuandjo next who is another Terrence Cody bust in the making.

(sigh) These Bama guys scare me, hopefully he works out. But I will say this, if we someway end up with Ward we will have a great defense for the future.

We just got our own version of Luke Kuechly. A smart, quiet, good-character, fast tackling monster. Mosley has some similar qualities found in Patrick Willis/Luke. I want somebody who's going to be a leader and spearhead our defense. That's Mosley. This dude is going to have over 100 tackles next season I guarantee it.. And then once you see the type of talent we just got, all of you people are going to be jumping on the bandwagon.

Also people crying about need, look at the teams that draft off need where are they now? Still picking high in the draft not knowing how to follow their board... And remember nothing says we cant trade back into the first and grab an area of need.

To trade back into the 1st round we would be giving up more than we could afford, that isnt gonna happen in a draft filled wit Depth. We cant trade compenstory Picks either

Best player available, most likely to reach multiple pro bowls of anyone on the board. For those who don't see it now, just wait five years.

And now everyone will hate on Ozzie. This is BPA. Great pick. Him and Elam will be the face of our defense for the next 10 years. We will get a safety/RT in the 2nd. Don't hate on this move, I think it was a very good one. We fixed the offense, our defense has some holes.

elam wont be the face of our defense as long as he isn't playing in his real position. drafting pryor or Clinton dix allows elam to be the tackling machine he is, instead of forcing him to be a coverage liability, and I don't see how mosley is gonna be placed above BOTH of them in terms of BPA.

Ozzie is too cheap to trade up.

I'm cool with it. Best player available. Evidently Pryor wasn't as high on their board as Mosley. Would've loved to grab Zach Martin but one pick too late...smh

Great pick, cause this kid has played in a pro-style defense...how many inside linebackers in this draft can say that...he was the best player on our board to be still around when our turn to pick,so why not...so the wizard of oz has done it again, cause this kid can be a pro bowl player down the road, and only time will tell if this will come about.

Solid pick. Daryl Smith is somewhat a liability against the run and another year older. The Ravens need a tackling machine and now may have two in Mosely & Brown.

did you see ozzie in a press conference expressing how much he loves picks? the odds are slim to none. to only possible trade into the first would be if all the first round WR's are off the board and jim says to john "i owe ya one for the hookup on boldin" and gives us a solid deal that doesn't involve trading our 2nd rounder

Im not going question Ozzie. I just hope Mosley stays healthy. Hip problems are very serious and they don't heal. Ask Ed Reed. Remember how good Sergio Kindle was, that dumb butt fractured his skull on some stairs. When is Kapron Lewis Moore going to play? We need to draft HEALTHY and SMART PROSPECTS.

I'll be here waiting to see wide receivers burning our safety's.

I like this pick, a lot of upsides and can easily get a little bigger and better. Good move by the Ravens. Welcome to the Ravens CJ Mosley.

wasted move. not the best player available, injury concerns, you take a player when we are 4 deep at the position, this was a complete waste. bama defenders rarely pan out. pick 17 was a chance to take an impact player, now our best case scenario is that he works out and we wasted a 2nd rounder last year on brown. either way we wasted a top pick. unbelievable

Mosely will not be learning from Darryl Smith and then taking over for him in a few years. He will be starting along side of Smith opening day. Book it Dano.

I'll echo what has mostly been said. I like Mosley a lot but was disappointed in the pick with Clinton-Dix and Pryor still there or even one of the corners like Dennard still there. I just don't see a clear-cut role for Mosley on the team at the moment and that's probably what disappoints me the most with Daryl Smith coming off the best season of his career and with having traded up for Arthur Brown last year and the faith Harbs and the staff have put in Brown. Mosley is a clear upgrade over McClellan and Bynes but those guys are already reliable backups with spot starts under their belt and wouldn't be terrible options with an injury. I can't say I feel the same about Omar Brown, Chykie Brown, and Asa Jackson even though I like the potential they have.

It is what it is and I trust the pick and welcome C.J. with open arms, at least we should set at both inside linebacker spots for the next decade if he and Brown turn out the way we all hope. Now if only we could still get Jimmie Ward tomorrow, not holding my breath on that though with the way he has already been talked up tonight, he could go tonight too...

Just figures Zack Martin is picked right before us. Stupid coin flip! Although it probably would not have mattered because Ozzie is so biased towards Alabama players, especially line backers. Also, I would be angry if I were a steelers fan, I think if they really wanted to get Shazier they could have traded back a few.

Doesn't make sense not to grab a top shelf FS. We already have Brown. I guess this means they don't think he's ready.
