Most of you guys never heard of brooks before we drafted him now all of sudden you dudes are ranking him higher than pryor and ha ha. Please stop being blinded by fandom and let this thing play out before we judge any player.

 

Who never heard of Brooks?  Star player from the National Champion Seminoles.  Probably one out of every two guys on this board had us picking him in at least one mock this year.  Just because you haven't heard of someone, don't act like that's the case for everyone.  How could you say most people never heard of Brooks?

Ummmmm, I had him mocked in the 2nd at 48 in both my last 2 mock drafts. I was thrilled to get him at 79 and I am sure a lot of others are as well. I would say he is a better fit for us than Pryor as Brooks is that rangy guy in the back we needed and Pryor didn't quite have that range in coverage. And HaHa would have been a good pick in the first but Brooks in the 3rd presented a lot more value.

Agreed, although the ravens missed playoffs once in 6 yrs & won a superbowl... There are "A LOT" of disgruntled people on here.

I'm a Virginia Teach fan...you know; from the ACC like the Seminoles?  The team that Brooks played for and won the National Championship with and the VT plays constantly?  Of course I and others knew who he was before the draft.  Smh!

It happens cause I'm a "regional" type of cat Fly.  I support teams in my geographical area.  Meaning; that 1st; I presently live in Virginia.  Been here for over 11 years now and I absolutely love the Virginia Tech Hokies.  Many of their prospects come from my area (i.e. Vick, Bruce Smith, DeAngelo Hall, Tyrod Taylor etc.).  However, being a New Yorker; The YANKEES will ALWAYS have my heart!  I never got into the Mets, Giants, Jets, Knicks (although I liked them during the Ewing era).  The Brooklyn Nets are slowly growing on me though.     As for my favorite NFL team?  That should go without saying!  Baltimore is only 3 1/2 hrs drive from me and I love coming to 3 home games a year!  Go Ravens!!!!

Nothing much, makes 4 of us total on the board that I know of as Bmorebird 22 and Ozzsome are both fellow Hokie guys. Glad we were able to scoop up Hopkins in UDFA

Yeah!  Hopkins should do well.  I also noticed that K. Fuller went to the Bears.  He should do well!
