My initial board is done. Some changes need to be made but it's definitely doable right now.

Is that really necessary? The shortened time frame worked fine. I think it was 16 hours and tgat was with trades and lesser known players involved. ??

I think in practice people will go as quickly as they can anyway, and 24 hours is fairer to those of us not living in the EST zone.

Yeah, maybe 16 hours could work. Nothing shorter though. People have lives, and they shouldn't have to worry about constantly checking if they have to make a pick.

I also don't want to wake up before work to find I only have 6 hours to make a pick because the guy in front of me picked while I was asleep. I'm mooting for 24 hours.

That was in the Mock Offseason. There really isn't a way to abuse it in this game because there is no trading picks, therefore there is nothing to gain by stalling. One isn't able to hijack the process in order to trade down for more picks, which was the issue in last year's Mock Offseason.

It doesn't. But even though you mulled it over thereafter, you've said that 16 hours could potentially work, so I was piggybacking off of that notion. I don't recall having issues with our switch to 16 hours in the FM, but we could make it 18, just to be safe.

With two of us in NZ and at least one person from the UK I can name, 16 hours can get complicated. And as was also brought up, I can't see any reason why people would use the time to stall the draft anyway. It's just straight picks.

Oh, wow. That's a drastic difference in time frames. I didn't know we had someone from New Zealand. Who is it? The full time is rarely used, but even in sparring amounts, it's been used enough in the past to bog down the process. Your first point is a better argument, and a pretty sound reason for keeping the time frame at 24 hours.

There also aren't trades so no reason to stall.
