Draft a Franchise: Discussion

I'm so much pulling for this guy to make it back

I was looking at him a couple of rounds back but there's a complete lack on information on him and when/if he might return, so I wasn't comfortable taking him.  I definitely like the pick though as long as you can afford to take a chance on someone like that.

I think he's still available. At this point trying to focus my picks on strong special teams contributors. And McClellan is strong there as well as a solid back up at all linebacker positions.

I was thinking about him for some Rounds now and I guess in Round 44 I can take a chance on someone who may never play a down in the NFL ever, but has loads of potential, which is undeniably huge.

I really would love to see him come back from that horrific injury

I'm trying to do the same. And would have picked McClellan.

Yeah I caught that lol

 I was lost in tabs...

It's hard not to notice what Allen Hurns is doing.  I wasn't planning on getting a 6th WR yet, but with what he's shown so far, I felt the need to take him.

He has looked good thus far. I was contemplating taking him myself.

I was lookig at him if he came around

Good to hear.  I usually refrain from UDFA standouts, but man, he's looked way too good to pass up.  If he fails in the regular season, he's my 6th option so no big loss.

Just hope for those ST contributions lol.  He does look pretty terrible out there on D.

I was considering Simon with the pick as well. Maybe a bit of Osu homer ism teaming him up with shazier but I do think he will be solid on teams for years and could work himself into a reserve role on D.

Apologies for the delay. Decided to go with Devin Street, who I liked in the pre-Draft process. He's impressed while attempting to secure Dallas' No. 3 WR position and will have room to grow on my roster as my reserve,

I know he's over in earthquake territory though, so I hope everything is alright with him first and foremost.

No earthquakes, I was just indecisive and something came up. Pick is in now.

Good to hear.  I know you're a west coast guy but had no clue if it was anywhere close to you.

Nice pick. He was going to be my next. He's one of my fav. Receivers this year. Excited to see what he will do in the Dallas offense.

Thank you and that's exactly why I chose him. I remembered how fond you were of him. I think he'll have a chance to showcase his skills this season. And tough loss with Sam Bradford.

Went with Davon House. He impressed me against Tennessee and reportedly had a very impressive showing against Oakland. He provides length as well as bump and run ability. House didn't have the best season last year, but according to Mike McCarthy, he's been having his best time as a pro before the games began so he should be a formidable No. 5/6 CB.

I really wish the Ravens had drafted house. Being in the ACC, I heard a lot about him during the season. At one point, and may have been all season, he was apart of the most product receiving duo in the nation
