I am in the position to answer this as lead mod-- you guys broke enough rules that everyone could be warned that participated

We agreed to allow this game under a few extra conditions that worked amazingly well with the previous mock and agreed to let you start pre-draft because of the late draft/ early TC.

Non- football gifs are restricted to the Off Topic forum because of it bogging down the load times and many are on phones and tablets. Posting a gif of a cartoon eating popcorn is as bad as egging the troll on. I am kind of disappointed in a couple of the people that took part in that mess and I shall leave it at that for now, as the mods are discussing what the next step is.

Well as far as I know since I'm the only one on right now, there were some really annoyed mods venting in the Mod Forum-- we don't want the mess we had last year, where every holiday and weekend 'THE GAME' took on a life of its own. If you have all these gifs the page load for the draft,Thursday to Sunday, is going to be a nightmare.
Biggies to take out of this--keep all discussions of the game in this forum only, not the Blogs or Ravens Talk, no hitting the "report post" to a mod if you want something pinned-- PM one of us please, and stop the "check your PMs" all over the place, and making a duplicate account for the game will get both of you time outs/ deleted. Have fun and don't be a jerk!

Sorry to be abrupt but people actually do this? That's literally a specific rule, in all caps lol. 

 

Understood. I won't be around as much so the commotion should go down....

 

Plus, we do have an established thing of rulemakers(including a mod) within the game as a precaution. We also want it to be fun, but to be a lot smoother than it was last year, and there was no controversial events in the first game this season(a first), so we might as well try our luck here.

That's the goal. We thought last year was a crap storm.

All is moving smoothly. I understand the concern though and actually thank you for it.

And no... I'm not recruiting any friends(cause I don't have any other ones besides NFLfan. Loaner FTW!). That was a disaster and I thoroughly apologize for that one

Once the draft gets started, this will probably have little to no traffic anyway. The plan was to start after the draft and be done by the time the fantasy football season gets rolling.

Missed the response. I wonder what was said. On a different note, if there's enough interest at the end, like there was last season (and enough time), we should consider expanding. I can't assume it will be the case this year, but there was enough in 2013 for a separate forum to be created just for over 20 teams to continue participating.
