Suggestion to think about...

Did one of these about a month ago..

Split up rookies from veteran draft

We did 40 rounds of current players and then a 7 round rookie draft.. Made it simpler but doesn't really change anything

A couple of things here.

First off, I think that is too many rounds. It takes a long time to get through 26 rounds as it is. Almost doubling that could take several months at the pace we go.

I definitely do not want to split up the established NFL players and rookies either. I think a fun and interesting part of this is deciding when the rookies should be drafted in comparison to the vets.

We also just did a 7 round mock draft for rookies so I don't really see the point of doing that again. I realize it would be for your own team as opposed to an established franchise, but with all the trades and FA the teams we constructed were often a far cry from what we started with to begin with.

Last year there were a few people who went on completed a full draft and I think that should be an option again for those who would like to continue. Personally, I have no interest in filling out an entire roster, and I don't have the time to commit to that either.

Heya all. I'd like to do this, too. I spend most of the day and good part of the weird hours online working a remote support IT job from home. Can't see many better ways of killing idle time than running an NFL franchise without a cap worries.

Can't argue with any of these points. And I'm glad that you're on board for having the latter as an option once again. May I suggest doing the same as we did with the FM, in having a specific time span for a certain section of selections? I assume that it won't be 24 hours for every selection of every round, but I wanted to address it just in case.

God no I wasn't suggesting a 47 round mock on here.. They used a draft website with timers so it was easier..

I'll be happy if we actually make it into the 20's on here..

I was just throwing the idea out about the rookies.
