WR LaQuan Williams is back

Good luck to LaQuan! There is, or going to be a gap somewhere that he has the opportunity to fill. Maybe Thompson's turn to walk.

Good!  At least Tyrod Taylor will have someone decent to throw to in the preseason games.  Got sick of having to watch him with options like Deonte Thompson and the like.

LaQuan pretty much showed up every single time he was given a chance.  And then once the regular season started.... he just wasn't given any chances.

I'm not optimistic that will change this year, since Harbaugh picks his favorites and rolls with them.  But maybe he can put on a good show to hopefully earn start snaps either here on somewhere else.  He's better than just a special teams standout.

Why not? Joe needs targets and why not a Terp? If he doesn't work out what did it cost us? If you want Joe to throw give him all options the "OZ" man can get. Not my call, in Ozzie I trust!!

I watched LaQuan at the open practices last season and thought he looked really good - better than Thompson in fact.  Either I don;t know what I'm looking at or those puff pieces they printed about Thompson being the new #2 this time last year affected the FO's opinions..  Glad to see that they'll give him another opportunity.  Hope he makes the most of it.

It would be great to see him make the team again but I don't see it. He always seemed to have a great training camp then he did nothing in the regular season. I hope I am wrong but I don't see him contributing.

What is the possibility this means WR is not a priority in the draft? I hope it just means Deonte is a gonner, and that Mallett has been warned, no injury this year bud.

They always add competition. That's all this is. With the addition of a drafted WR, they will probably add some more undrafted guys and let them compete with each other.
