That team is great, but we're better and I could see that from todays game that even in Pittsburgh we could beat them. We were robbed in that TD but thats ok, we're gonna pull it off when it really counts.




And thats gonna be with our good cornerback that we got from Oakland playing all 4 quarters this time, speaking of getting cornerbacks from Oakland. Watch out for who we're gonna get next season that would complete this defense!

I dont think Asomugha is going to be staying in Oakland, he is tired of all that mess and im sure knows by now that hes not going to go anywhere with that team.


Our defense would INDEED be unstoppable, Asomugha is shutting down his side of the field even without a pass rush something that we can consistently do for him. He'd be alongside former teammate Fabian.. HOF linebacker Ray Lewis, and HOF safety Ed Reed. Who would pass up being in a unit like that?

It is not a matter of passing up being in a unit like that, it is a matter of affording a unit like that while still being fine salary cap wise. Many people have said that we are only going to be able to keep two of our three big name free agents (Suggs/Scott/Ray) on defense due to this issue. This being the case, I do not think we are going to turn around a pay top dollar for a defensive free agent like Asomugha. I agree with what Ravnet said, if Oakland cannot agree to a long term contract with him, they are going to franchise tag him immediately. There is simply no way they are going to let go one of the few good aspects of their defense.
