2014 Game Schedule

Also the Giants first several games has seemed to be leaked on Twitter. The 7PM East Coast MNF game in Week one will be the Lions hosting the New York Giants. Giants also play the Colts, 49ers and Seahawks in a row. Giants play the Eagles in Week 17.

Here's a little help with the schedule thanks to the leak of the full Giants schedule:

The Falcons travel to the Giants on Sunday October 5th which is week 5. Colts play the Giants on Nov 3rd, week 9 on MNF. Giants play Tennessee and Jacksonville in weeks 13 & 14. Giants play Houston in week 3.

So you can pencil in those weeks that the Ravens won't be playing those teams.

Now it's changing. On Twitter it's looking like either Packers @ Seahawks or Cowboys @ Seahawks.

Cowboys @ Seahawks.............HAAAAA easy win for the Hawks

Id love to make the thanksgiving night game a traditional Ravens game in Baltimore. Words cant describe how awesome that would be...we've won the last two..and against two good teams.

would also be cool if the NFL continues to reward the winner of the the thanksgiving night game with the home thanksgiving game the following year.

With that said I think we have the very minimum 3 primetime games...Steelers/Panthers/who knows

Come on thanksgiving night game!!

Does anybody else think that we might get screwed again by playing opening game away, with the excuse that we were supposed to play at home last year, so it's our turn to travel this season?

I hope for the competition to be spread out evenly and for there to not be any huge curveballs, wouldn't mind if we didn't play on Thursday night either unless it is coming off a bye lol

The NFL could fix one of the biggest problems with Thursday Night Football by only having teams play it when coming off the bye. That would make sense to me.

If the schedule leak is correct(which at this point other than the Giants full schedule being released, nothing is truly confirmed) then we open at home against the Browns.

I just did some research and, apparently out of the 18 seasons in which the Ravens have been in the NFL, we played the season opener at home 11 times. So in total 61% of our opening games were in Baltimore. Therefore I would have no problem if we were to play away. I guess now we have to wait and see if that leak is accurate.

If I'm not mistaken, everyone gets one Thursday night game and one Monday night game.

Gosh I hope not. Plus too the NFL has it's options. Seattle also hosts the Packers and the team they destroyed in the Super Bowl, the Denver Broncos.

Then lets hope it is early to get out of the way

The Browns did not play on MNF in 2012 or 2013. Therefore I don't think this is accurate.

Edit: And the Bears had two MNF games last year.

That would severely limit the schedule possibilities.

Yes but don't you think that only three full days of rest/practice for the team is not enough?

In that case I was just thinking about the Thursday night games. And I believe with the Monday games they try to balance an even spread among teams with maximising ratings. Hence Bucs-Dolphins.

I don't like the Thursday night games myself, I'm just saying that it would be way too constricting to do it that way. Plus, what do you do about the non-bye weeks?

lol I'd be happy with no prime time games, they are usually around midday in Australia when I am at work so I always miss them. Not sure if they take me into account when putting together the schedule though

As long as we dont have Pitts-burgh twice in three

Weeks like we did before.

I can see Cincy sandwiched in between Pitts-burgh being

A nightmare synerio.

Just heard on the news that Ravens @ Steelers will be November 2 on SNF.

That year we played in The Badlands Ketchup Field, flew out west to San Diego then came home for the return match against them. While we were playing in OT against the Chargers, the Steelers hosted the Browns if I'm not mistaken.

That was almost as weak as the Steelers being ranked ahead of us in the division but picking two spots ahead come the Draft.

The division could be getting interesting by that time. I rather like the sound of that. What's the best we host the Jags on November 9 though.

why are nearly all our Prime Time games with the Steelers in Ketchup field??? It is beyond annoying at this point.

Packers-Seahawks to kick off the 2014 Season.

Seahawks/49ers to close out Thanksgiving Night.

I like Ravens-Steelers on Nov 2nd. Nice birthday present to me... crap thought it said was at The Bank.

lol Panther's fan on the upcoming schedule:

"I’ll be doing delayed obsession. I’ll DVR the program and watch it Thursday night when I don’t have to get up at 5:30 the next morning.

My expectations are low. The Panthers crew of average WRs plus Steve Smith are all gone, and everyone is certain we’re going 4-12, even though our new WRs aren’t any worse, the draft hasn’t happened and our entire defensive front 7 will be back.

We will get only one national game, almost certainly the game at Baltimore, with whatever network broadcasting it openly rooting for “Blood & Guts” Smith to score 5 TDs and for the Ravens to destroy us. We will end the season at New Orleans or at Atlanta, just like pretty much every season of our existence.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys, Redskins, Patriots and Broncos will all get at leastt 5 prime time games, if not more. Everyone at all 5 networks that broadcast games will spend the next 4 months bloviating that the Broncos are going 19-0 and that Manning will throw for 7,000 yards and 75 touchdowns.

That about covers everything. See, I saved y’all the effort of watching live. You’re welcome."

Can't believe how much of an event the NFL manages to make this. You wouldn't see that with any other league in the world, even if they tried.
