I really hope that Harbaugh gets rid of this guy in the off season and gets a better corner. Most of the steelers last drive was thanx in part to Rolle. First, he can't cover for anything, I mean when the ball is at the 15, why are you still giving the guy 10yds. Hell, I called that play into Ol'Roth, hey pass it to the guy Rolle is covering he's playing off of him 10yds. Well, what do you know 3 step drop, Rolles man acts like he runnning turns a 180 and boom theres the ball, down to the 4yd line. Secondly, he can't tackle for crap either, I've seen him miss more open field tackles then the rest of the team combined. Now, I know guys were slipping, on their own field which was ridiculous, but he missed an open field tackle time and time again. A few of them were even for short of a first down, but nope theres Rolle flying through the air and on the ground, the guy with the ball, still running down field. Ray may like him and all, but he needs to get Rolle some extra tackling practice, thats just pathetic to see a veteran who can't tackle in the open field, especially when the guys watching the ball and not him.

Rolle played alright in the game but Fabian was lights OUT

plus, samari forced the fumble leading to the second FG.

i think he was aight, that game. ok he did some mistakes. but erybody did mistakes.

Rolle played fine IMO, off the bench though Frank Walker got schooled.

Washington played a strong game, Rolle did ok until the final drive. When you are the #2 D and the opponent has 6 points YOU DON'T play 15 yards off the line of scrimmage and allow to complete easy passes and drive down field. Make them fight for the ball!!! If we lost playing good coverage then I would say we challenged them and they made they right plays but we gave them the game @ the end and a big result of that was a result of the LARGE cushion toasted rolle gave them on that drive. The film don't lie. I hope that position is addressed in the off season because that was unacceptable to allow a drive that far at the end of the game.

I'm assuming you watched the game on tv. If you did you can't see all the things going on in the secondary and neither could I. Sure he gave up that big completion to Washington but he's still a great player. So let me just make this point...would you rather have Corey Ivy take his place? No...I didn't think so.
