Most Hated Teams

43 posts in this topic

As a Ravens fan, the teams I hate the most are as follows:

1.) Pittsburgh Steelers: Their fans are arrogant and think the world of themselves.

2.) Washington Redskins: They cannot ever admit that we are a better team than them, their owner truly believes that he can buy a ring, and he lives in our state.

3.) Indianapolis Colts: Nothing against their fans but they stole our team and their owner still bears the last name Irsay. On second thought, all the records that were rightfully earned in Baltimore all fall under Indianapolis in Canton. Johnny Unitas even said that they are Baltimroe records.

4.) Cleveland Browns: They think we stole their team and trash Art for something he had to do because of Clevleand officials being incompetent. They cannot even begin to compare it to the Irsay incident, plus they are in our division.

5.) Cincinnati Bengals: The Bungals are a bunch of delinquents who believe that they can win on any given Sunday yet fall flat most of the time.

1) Colts- I hate the Colts the most. They took the identity of this town and claim it is there own. Johhny U is in the Indy Colts section of the hall of fame. They claim to own all the records set by the Colts while in Baltimore. Their arrogant chant of "get over it" is ridiculous. They should give us our history back, change the team name and colors, and have an identity of their own. If it happened in Indy, it is their history. If it happened in Baltimore it is ours. Unitas and Donovan never played for Indy. They are Baltimore boys!

2) Steelers- They are like a plague when we host their team. I realize, even if I can't understand, that several people became attached to the hated Pittsburgh Steelers while we had no football in Baltimore. That is no excuse for continuing this disgusting love affair. We have a team now! Burn those Pittsburgh jerseys and support your local team!

3) Redskins- So overated! Their midget owner is an embarrasment to the NFL. He reminds me of Angelos. I hate that on my cable local sports shows I constantly have to hear about what is going on with the Redskins. This team doesn't even play in DC. The should be the Lansdowne Redskins. They play in Maryland for Heavens sake!

4) Bengals and Browns- They play in my division so I am always happy to watch them be handed a loss.

5) Eagles- Philly fans are beligerent. I think Philly sports, and by extension their fans, are attrocious. Throwing snowballs at Santa? That shows the level of class these people have.

6) Every other NFL team- They are nothing more than stepping stones on the way to another championship.

(1) Colts - from their pirate owner to their obnoxious johnny-come-lately fan base, the Indianapolis pretender franchise will remain public enemy #1 until our history & records are properly segregated and returned to their rightful place.

(2) Steelers - why are't those obnoxious yellow rags banned from our Stadium? These used to be #1, but have dropped due to the sharply declining Steeler fan attendance at our Stadium.

(3) Redskins - OK, Jack Kent Cooke is gone, along with his plans to build the Laurel Stadium in metro Baltimore, so we should all support the team from our Southern suburbs and embrace their red & yellow sportswear, right? WRONG!!!! This is the franchise which forced Art Modell, in a wheelchair, to park distant from the stadium entrance at the 2000 game, then had its PA announcer taunt the thousands of Ravens fans in attendance. This is the fan base -- with a decades long history of jealousy for our sports success -- which taunted us after the upset loss to the Jets in SB III. And whose thug fans - after home losses to the Ravens - beat up a female Ravens fans in a FedEx Field stairwell and attacked another in the ladies room.

The rest: Cleveland nor Cincy fans annually show miniscule support for their teams on road trips to Baltimore, so they are essentially irrelevant. We have seen little of Philly fans despite their proximity. NY fans only show up with winners -- just like obnoxious Yankee fans -- so the Ravens combined 7-1 regular season & playoff record against the NY teams keeps them quiet. A few Raiders and Bills fans have behaved poorly at our Stadium, but their teams went down like lambs. The rest of the NFL - don't care.

I sat here for 10 minutes and couldn't even think of 5 teams I dislike. I'd say of the ones I thought of Pittsburgh would be the top choice just because growing up a Cleveland fan, it's just a given.. just as it is the other way around. I guess I'd say the only other teams I kinda dislike are the Ravens and Bengals but really that's just cause they're division rivals and I always wanna see them lose of course LOL.

I don't like the following :

1-Colts (Payton Manny is annoying as hell)

2- Redskins (They don't even have a city to play in actually and all of their crazy fans are in Virgina , Not Maryland! Maryland is the Ravens house! Do you see the Maryland flag on the D.C flag? NO , Do you see part of the Maryland flag on the Baltimore city flag? Yes!)

3 - Steelers

4- Browns

5-Bengals (Stupid "Who dey" saying)

# 1. pittsburgh Stealers( i just can't stand pittsburgh , or any of their sports teams)

#2. Washington Redskins(i live 5 minutes away from fedex field in the heart of redskins country, like somebody posted before this is MARYLAND , they should be i DC and having redskins all over tv can't even get ravens regular season games on tv here but yet they have them losers on )

#3. Colts( cause of this past January)

#4.Bengals( they think they are so better than us but yet just figured out how to beat us only like about 4 times in the last 10 years)

#5.Titans( even though we are not in the same division anymore , i still miss the games against them cause you could just taste the hate between them)

As a Ravens fan this is my top 5 most hated teams in the NFL.

1. Colts!! - I think everyone knows a reason on why this is a top #5 most hated team.

2. Steelers - I cannot stand that oaf Big Ben, Or cry baby Hines Ward or any of their fans at that.

3. Bengals - After sitting on their msg board for months I realized how annoying their fan's really seem. And also how they think the Bengals are so much better then the Ravens its funny.. Oh yeah and I cant forget their stupid who dey chant!!

4. Redskins - Just get out of MD already.. sheesh. I notice the jealousy of their fans and it makes me just sick!! they hate on the Ravens but only really do because deep down inside their really really JEALOUS and they cannot icleast admit it(like my friend who is a Redskins fan) and my friends MOM who all she does is try and say Ray is a murderer and has nothing else to back herself up.

5. Eagles or Broncos hmm, I cannot decide who I hate worst out of those 2.. I know when I visited my bro in Colorado their fans were not to cool with me when I was wearing my Ravens hat they say its because their still mad at us for knocking them out of the playoffs in 2000 WOW people can't get over anything!!. And as for the Eagles I don't know what it is but there is something about that team that really gets to me.. I always get this vibe like they think there so GREAT and their fans think there the best thing thats happened to football.

1)steelers

2)eagles.sheer arrogance of fans.they have no reason to be arrogant.

=)Bengals.same as eagles, they arent quite as bad but they're in our division

4)Broncos. more the media's fault than the fans. I hated it last year when people were saying because they beat us they had the better defense.

5) colts. for obvious reasons.

ill give a mention to the chargers just because of my irrepressable hatred of shawne merriman.

after that I dont have a particular desire for any team to lose (except when they are playing us, obviously)

I do get a nice , warm feeling inside when ever kellen winslow gets hit, but in general I dont really mind the browns.

1. Squeelers - I can't even get into the stadium before getting into words with some obnoxious !@#$ Squeeler fans. I wish they'd all choke on their towels. Hate them, hate them, hate them. Did I mention I hate them?

2. Colts - Indianapolis is a pathetic sports town. They only got a team by a stealing one and then didn't even have the gusto to come up with their own identity. It is the epitome of laziness. I mean I can see why they'd want to be the Colts, a storied franchise, but they will always be losers in my book. So glad Johnny U, told them where they could put their horseshoes.

3. Browns - They were virtually promised a new team before the Ravens had ever taken the field. Don't blame us, blame the NFL. They were the ones to deny us a new team for so many years! No offense to their fans, but you can't convince me that Jacksonville (3rd team in Florida) or Carolina (not known to be a football state) deserved new teams before us. No, instead, we're told to build a museum or something. I think we all agree that we would much rather have had an expansion team. But, at least we were honest, and left them their legacy. Plus, they weren't forced to live live without football for more than a decade as we did.

4. Eagles - I have been to quite a few stadiums. These fans are truly classless. They were so happy when they got Terrible T.O. and loved rubbing it in our faces. It's so nice to have the last laugh.

5. Bengals - I know they're in our division, but I have to admit that I'm worried about this franchise. Will they have enough players out of jail to even play? I hate to see a quality guy like Marvin Lewis doing time at the Paul Brown Penitentiary.

P.S. Oh, and I hate the Squeelers.

1. Steelers -- They will always be the #1 rival, IMO.

2. Colts -- For obvious reasons

3. Redskins -- I still haven't forgiven them for moving to block expansion for Baltimore.

4. Browns -- Rival #2, IMO.

5. Bengals -- Never used to make my top 5, but now they do because they're a competitive rival.

Honorable mention:

Titans -- Wish we played them more.

Cowboys -- Used to always be in my top 5, but I seem to dislike them less and less the more time passes since they had those great teams in the 90's.

NUMERO UNO : By far my most hated team has to be the Steelers!! It hurt to watch them win a Superbowl. Even more so than the Colts Superbowl win. When we lose to the Steelers, it makes me want to go all Michael Vick on a dog!

2. The Colts. I don't think I need to explain why.

3. The Browns. All I can say is, don't go to a Cleveland home game wearing Ravens gear. It will be one of the worst experiences of your life. Cleveland football fans are scum!

4. Redskins. They were pretty much the reason as to why it took so long for us to get football back in the town of Baltimore.

5. Broncos. I just don't like 'em!

1. Dallas CowGirls, I hate thier fans more so then the actual team. Everyone swears they're Americas Team. Also Roy Williams is the most overrated safety.

2. Indianapolis Colts- other people have already stated why

3. ****tsburgh Squealers- Big Ben is a joke. Hines Ward is annoying, he should switch his initials around so his name would be Wines Hard

4. Washington Redskins- They claim DC, they practice in Virginia, They play in Maryland. Figure something out. Plus they suck and thier owner sucks

5. Cleveland Browns- We didnt steal thier team , they got to keep the name, history, and colors. They got a team 3 years later and still complain

1. Bears- There was an extremely obnoxious Bears fan sitting in front of me at the Pro Bowl, my friend is a Bears fan and for some reason we enjoy hating what the other loves. I'm sick of people still pretending that the Bears had the best defense last year because they made it to the Super Bowl.

2. Eagles- I hate the fans.

3. Redskins- I hate Daniel Snyder.

4. Colts- I hate the lame fans and their let's just win every game "49-45" attitude.

5. USC- They're supposed to go to National Championship every year, accumulating a lot of preseason hype, but have trouble delivering.

1. COLTS! (they stole our Team, our History, our Loyalty and our respect)

2.Pittsburgh Steelers (we all know why) plus i am constantly battling (with words) with a Steeler fan at some point

3.Eagles-you wouldnt believe the amount of Eagle Fans around here....in Maryland, who think that the Eagles are the Biggest, baddest Team out there and think that they are "all that"

4.Bengals- Division Rivalry...enough said plus when we play them, its Teacher (Billick) vs. Lewis (Student)...lewis was with us for a few years and has a SuperBowl Ring because of us..

5.Browns- a Divsion Rivalry, and the fact that they think we stole their team...we most certainly did NOT steal their team, we gave the name, History, and Uniforms all Back, and started from Scratch...plus they got a team back in a year or 2....we didnt have ANY for a Long time...

we started from scratch and created the Ravens....it took us 4 years to win a SuperBowl...4!!!! that says something about us, we're a great team....with great coaches, and players who know that they are doing...we had won the SuperBowl within our first 5 years of being called a Franchise....Go Ravens!!!!

Cant say I agree with the "starting from scratch" thing. . . the Texans and the "new Browns," they more started from scratch.

My "Hated teams"

1 through 5: Patriots.

I don't mind the division rivalries and such. I lived in New England for a while and Patriots fans are the most (the worst thing I can say about them without getting in trouble. . yeah, that.) people, from the average fan to the local sports media.

So much worse than Steeler or Eagle fans. .

Plus Tom Brady is a disgrace of a human being. One of the best there is playing QB but to me that isn't all that matters.

Yeah, we left them their colors and ****s but still took their team. The Ravens were not an expansion team, the Browns were not very good when they left but in no way were they an expansion team. Matt Stover is proof of that, I believe he is the last player to move over from Cleveland to still be on the Baltimore roster.

what i meant by from Scratch was the fact that it was a New City, New Era of Football.....you know "out with the browns (so to speak) welcome Ravens!......the result?.........4 years.....SuperBowl ring...The Texans are in their 5th Season as a Franchise and they havent won one, they seem to be making progress but not their yet.....thats all i was saying haha
