anyone else having issues with the game sticking like crazy?

 

My only issue with the game and this kills CFM for me is the lack of available funds bug. I have no idea why but EA tied available funds to the salary cap and even though you can have $28M in cap room, if you don't have enough available funds you can't sign a player. Been trying to do a Packers CFM where I convert the D to a 4-3 and I would trade for Joe Thomas. Well can't do anything because it keeps telling me I don't have enough available funds. 

 

I'm about ready to trade this in and get NBA 2K15 instead, can't handle it anymore. How is it that our off-season GM game allows me to be more of a GM than Madden, unbelievable.

Bonus money in a contract is all added that year to your funds.  What a lot of people use to do was just offer a high amount of bonus if they knew they were going to keep the player long term to keep the cap hit down.  I think they changed that to counter that way of doing contracts.

My problem with the game:

I can take the Lions.... win games no problem. Dominate.

I can take the freaking' Jaguars... win games, make the playoffs, no problem.

Something is inherently flawed with the rating system.

Bryden its not just that I have seem some crazy animations ,  I did see Juice on a play level Harrison ... I do think he is now involved in nasa because he was hit and then took off directly up like a rocket ,   I have also seen forcefields appear beginning to wonder if bioware programmers were pulled over at some point....

Although I am a VT Hokies man myself; I can't run the Cardinals.  I love running my Baltimore Ravens with Tyrod Taylor as my QB.

Could always play franchise mode and just trade for Thomas, he can't be that expensive

True!  But, I'm not into franchise mode.  I strictly play online.

I pretty much only run with the Ravens in Madden. I use the Packers playbook on defense because I love the Pyscho Nickel package for generating a good pass rush on passing downs.

 

I've been thinking about switching to a 4-3 defense, thoughts?

Haven't played Madden in a while, but started playing it again recently. Started cutting players who have been cut recently to start working on a 2015 roster. It's going to have to take a lot for me to buy Madden 16 so just in case, I'll least have my own 2015 roster to play with in CFM.

I always buy the new madden when it drops.  I hate how that EA has no plans for making another NCAA game.  Smh!

Scouting these players is ridiculous. Can't even see measurables like 40 times, you have to scout everyone's speed which then saps your scout points which, in effect, limits you to only really looking into 2-3 position groups.

 

An easier/lamer method, I've found, is to run through the draft once, look at everybody's rookies, find the good ones and their draft position, and re-do it.

Yes ...... I also noticed our team can not tackle a cold ......  I think the last patch broke the game ... I blame Brady it is his fault he deflated something in the game that caused it I know it

My issue is the flat out ignoring of ratings. My worst person on my O-line is 94 and I can't even get more than 2 seconds when I'm passing. Their pass block ratings are really good too.

The problem with madden it has no real personality, the players have no personality, and the stats and abilities like impact blocking, footwork, footwork strength don't mean anything. EA needs to get more alike to other sports games such as MLB The Show.  The Show is the only sports game I find that delivers.  Madden has basically been the same game since early 2000's. EA seems to enjoy this fact because they don't change much at all with each release.

 

Madden does make changes but if you was to play Madden 12 and then played current Madden you wouldn't be able to tell any strong difference.  This is the problem with Madden.  I have bought every Madden since 2010.  I am now unsure rather I will buy this years... just not enough improvement, I have been basically buying new Maddens for the new rosters.

 

Madden needs to launch a game every 3 years, between those 3 years do DLC.  New rosters, new uniform packs, new features for creation mode... such as add tattoo, hair, bread, revamped create a character.  Add a fun career mode.  Then once 3-4 are up release a new and completely improved game, then again BUILD on that platform adding even more content with cost effective DLC.  

 

This method would improve our football experience with the game greatly and force EA to actually do work on Madden.

As for the player ratings?  They mean very little if you play franchise mode.  8-10 years in franchise mode count on it... every player will have a rating of 90+ and when you sign free agents.  You will be signing safeties with ability like Ed Reed in his prime for 1 mil per year because no one is worth giving a contract to because all players have over the top ratings, which is a pointless game killer.

Who else loves playing the draft, then writing down the names of all the good players....Just so you can reload a different save point to replay the the draft and draft all the good players?

Since i bought madden 15 on ps4  ( well over 8 months ago) I haven't been able to access community files.

 

Would it be possible if anyone here who's downloaded the latest rosters ( rookies fa etc) could send me there saved roster and sent it to my email. Would be greatly appreciated. I just can't access community files no matter what. I've tried everything..creating new accounts addresses etc

 

Just PM me and I'll send you my email address to send the file to. I'll store it to my USB and go from there.

Honestly I was thinking about what was said earlier , if I had to pay 15-20 dollars a year for madden updates via DLC  and had a Quality game where it doesnt seem to have issues cheating I would have no problem shelling out 60 to start ...... As long as it was not broken Day one .... EA has had a recent history of that in other realms .....
