I understand your point but don't get caught up in the gimmicks EA comes out with each year to sell the game. Plus they end up scrapping that gimmick a year or two later anyway instead of improving upon it. It looks nice visually but that's all Madden is at this point. Just eye candy to look at.

I too am pretty excited for Madden 15 this year.  With EA Sports redoing defense, this might finally be the year where the Ravens get their respect in Madden.

Good on Richard Sherman for trying to get his teammates with him on the cover, since Seattle's strength lies in the secondary as a unit.

 

Still skipping this year's Madden in all likelihood.  Moving the camera around, which I think you can do anyway, does not constitute as a change in defense and I'm guessing they didn't worry about bug fixes.

I be perfectly happy with just Madden 25, but I just bought a PS4. So I preordered madden 15. What really sucks is that NCAA got cancelled. That was my favorite game series and me and my friends play it all the time. Dynasty mode is extremely fun as well.

We do have a top five in tucker. I only buy the newest game to get the newest players and the rule changes. Madden 15 will hopefully have the change in how the pro bowl is run

Suggs didn´t play like top five the second half of the Year. Yanda however very well did.

There's no such thing as a pass rush.  Had 0 sacks in 3 games.  The one chance I had at one, Madden decided that Russell Wilson could run over Brandon Williams.

 

Opposing QBs complete nearly everything.  With no pass rush, receivers get open and QBs take advantage.

 

There's no running game either.  Everyone on the opposing defense is all world at getting off of blocks.

 

Even if you find space, there are no breakaways.  It feels like all LBs have 99 speed.  Closing speed all around is ridiculous.

 

Overthrows.  Good lord.  Probably 30% of my passes go 10 yards over the receivers' heads.

 

I also had a punt that bounced off of Jacoby's head.  Didn't even attempt to raise his arms.

 

Luckily I didn't technically buy it this year.

Did they increase the number of defensive holding, illegal contact and illegal use of the hands penalties by 40% in the 2015 version? Now THAT would make this game realistic ...

 

If I hear one more announcer tell us that this is "a point of emphasis" again, I'm going to lose my mind.

Seems you just have to get used to the new defensive controls. From everything I'm reading on Operation Sports, everyone is saying more positives than negatives. They also love the new defensive controls. May want to try some sliders but it seems you just got to get use to the new controls.

I read it's buggy, but I'm not buying this year.  Or rather, if I do buy it I'm waiting until it's cheap on Black Friday.  But I'm probably abstaining after how much I disliked 13 and 25.

This will be the first time I haven't bought the new madden since 2008....Same for the new call of duty. I'm tired of all that recycled crap.

Might by 2k but I'm not sure since I'll likely upgrade my system within the next year or two.

Really? I've actually had none of those problems (yet). I was actually going to comment on how much better the pass rush got.
