Gordon is a moron and this will haunt him for along long time, when you hit a long ball off of bumgarner and then the fielders make 2 errors at the wall you run all the way home, especially since perez is up next to bat and bumgarner doesn't let two consecutive hits happen this post season. He should have ran home and escobar in the 5th I think ti was should never have bunted on a 2-0 count with infante on base. Boche just proved that he is the smartest manager in the league and yost managed this game terribly. The worst part is I think the A's and O's would have beaten the giants in 6 games.

Yeah, Gordon just slowed down going into third. It's a big "what could've been" situation, but with the way your teamates are hitting against Bumgarner, you might as well go for it all.

Can't fault Gordon at all. Sorry but you can't. Should've went Benny the jet and tried stealing home lol

Exactly, i'm not sure if it was gordons fault or the 3rd base coach or both but that one is a no brainer, you get it tied up and eventually bumgarner will have to leave and then you can win in extra innings

I know Yost just went to the WS, but get real..... Joe Maddon should go to KC.

I dont see that happening, even though I don't think the Royals are making the playoffs next year and Maddon would certainly be an upgrade over Yost.

Joe Maddon to the Cubs. They have a lot of young talent there and he could really help them develop. I, for one am glad he chose the National League.

With nothing really going on with the O's I like to check out SB Nation and catch up. I clicked on the Orioles, went to "Thursday Bird Droppings (11/20) nothing new. There was one story there with a video of Pat Venditte, a switch pitcher, yes pitcher, just signed by Oakland. It is to say at least hilarious as he faces a switch hitter and what follows is just plain off the wall. If you get bored check this out, never seen anything like this.

Billy Butler's a great signing for the A's

He's good in the post season, if we can even get there. Wish we still had cespy.

God I hope Sandoval does not sign with the Red Sox. He may be the best hitter in MLB. Looks like the Red Sox are about to spend some serious money to load up again. Not good for the O's.

Naw, not the best hitter in baseball. When he gets to the postseason, maybe. But first the Sox would have to make it there.

In other news, Andrew Miller is about to become the highest paid relief pitcher (who isn't a closer) in mlb history.

So he gone

How long will the Yankees sit still before the money starts flying from them. Seen this movie before! The Jays already over paid Russell Martin, running up the price on other free agents. After all these years with Pete owning the team this all worries me. Say good bye to Cruz, he'll get his 5 years.

The Red Sox are making a big splash..........WOW..........both Sandoval and Ramirez. Honestly, I hate it but shocked it was not the Yankees that did it. I am sure they will be next with the big signings. I just hope we find a way to keep Miller and Cruz and I will be happy.

I've simply had enough, not gona watch any A's games until the day beane and the owners are gone. That will probably be a long damn time but trading cespy and our top prospects for a rental, an ok pitcher, a trash pitcher and now donaldson for more trash is just too much. Can't feel attached to the team when they all are expendable and can be traded at any moment for nothing.

I wonder how much longer Beane will be on the job.

Probably another 8 years, my wish is that we finish with the worst record the next 2-3 years and he gets fired and the owners sell.

Kind of feel that way every day. Sorry about Cruz in your division, now about that owner thing?

Owners don't care about the team at all all they care about is profits, not only that but they refuse to put any real thought or effort into getting us a new stadium we have needed forever. We never buy any good players from free agency, we trade away prospects and really good players for usually garbage deals and until the owners are gone we can't do anything. They aren't poor either that's a myth, they are stupidly rich actually but they won't touch their pockets to help the team.
