I see an orange and black world series

Orioles Giants?

My preseason pick was O's and LAD and I'm sticking with it at this point, but I could easily see a completely orange October

Yeah giants look ominous again like in 2012, they look gritty and tough but kansas are looking a bit tough with their hearts too. O's got this though.

Mike Trout will probably win MVP but dear god was he useless this series. 1 hit in 11 at bats.

Something else that bothers me about Manny's injury... This was his chance to separate himself in the playoffs between Harper & Trout who both have been terrible.

Yeah he definitely could have done that.

So the Cardinals advance past the Dodgers and Kershaw collapses yet again. I think the Giants beat the Nats here in game 4.

Would be extra sweet if Baltimore faces and beats San Fran only two years removed from the Ravens beating the niners

The Giants win the pennant! The Giants win the pennant! The Giants win the pennant!

Well enough of that..........but I will be rooting for them in the series.......not because KC beat the O's.......but for the classless way they acted doing it.

Is anyone like me secretly hoping that that Giants sweep the Royals and they all wear a "The Royals Ain't Royal" t-shirt to their postgame press conference?

Absolutely ... I also want lots of fist-pumping and pointing into the Royals dugout and to the crowd along the way, doing little dances in the on-deck circle, "I'm so cool" spin moves coming off the field after making a nice play, media comments about how the Royals won't be going back to KC for games 6 and 7 and how they should just give up cause there's no point in bothering, etc ...

I'll feel a little bit for the fan base, but the KC players? Yeah, not so much.

As they say, Karma is a b*****

Really good to see SF doing to the Royals what we couldn't - and that's hammering their mediocre starting pitching. KC doesn't appear to be at their best when having to come from a multi-run deficit (their WC win over the As not withstanding). Their pen is top notch and their hitters are opportunistic and can scratch out a run when the need it, but if they get down by multiple runs, as most teams will do in the post-season, they will press and not be effective. Their 7-9 inning relievers will end up being spectators.

Last night you saw a lot of signs that the baseball gods that have shined on KC for weeks may be abandoning them. Shattered bat hits were staying in the infield, Swinging bunts were carrying far enough to be outs (as they should be ...) and balls have carried or dropped just that extra few feet to prevent their excellent defense from being able to make a play.

I was all set to root for these guys, but now I'm just going to root for them to get hit by a truck. Sorry KC, as long as you trot out this group of guys, you can wait another decade for a championship as far as I'm concerned.

Bumgarner is a freaking legend. Made the entire Royals lineup look like scrubs. Also good to see Guthrie awarded the loss.

Incredible World Series and performances by Bumgarner & Pablo

..... Dynasty ......

Ain't no doubt ol Nick would've slapped a leadoff single in the 9th off him though. -_-

That last at bat by Perez was laughable

I don't think there was a single ball in the strike zone or if there was, it wasn't by much

He swung at high pitch after high pitch. The first swing was really bad.

Yeah not a good at bat by any stretch.

Bumgarner MVP, consider me shocked

Gordon is a moron and this will haunt him for along long time, when you hit a long ball off of bumgarner and then the fielders make 2 errors at the wall you run all the way home, especially since perez is up next to bat and bumgarner doesn't let two consecutive hits happen this post season. He should have ran home and escobar in the 5th I think ti was should never have bunted on a 2-0 count with infante on base. Boche just proved that he is the smartest manager in the league and yost managed this game terribly. The worst part is I think the A's and O's would have beaten the giants in 6 games.
