Beane sucks end of story, do you know our record since trading cespedes? It's about to be 18-21, that's horrendous and the fact that we still have the second best record in baseball after all of that shows how good oakland were before beane messed everything up like the ego driven and absent sensed fool he is. It doesn't even matter anymore I have know the A's have been done officially a week after trading ces so i'm putting on my oriole cap for the playoffs ( I actually do own a custom orioles new era cap heh)

Dunn is done, IMO... He can still run into a few hr's... But he's pretty useless otherwise.

After trading away most marketable player A's have(not their best. That's Donaldson), no. He could not be more desperate.

Cespy was easily our second best player though, I know it's easy to play couch GM but really instead of buying a known failiure in jim johnson this year we should have bought nelson cruz or ian kinsler, instead of trading away our best 2 prospects for two mediocre cubs pitchers we should have kept our future chips, instead of trading our second best player and best playoff hitter for a 2 month rental we should have stayed put because we were going fine and instead of trading tommy milone for a player we already released at the start of the year we should have kept him or got something a lot better. I think i'll vomit if I see a combo of the angels/giants/dodgers in the ws.

Man, the A's collapse is still shocking to me. 11 games behind LAA. Seattle is right their heels. Playoff hopes are being threaten.

Tonight it's Sonny Gray vs King Felix to decide 2nd place. I might actually try to watch this one.

This is the biggest nosedive in MLB history as far as I am concerned and the worst part about it is I knew it was coming right after the cespedes trade. Swept by texas and something absurd like 17-28 since the all star break. It's a good thing I like the O's and see them winning it all otherwise I would have stopped watching baseball months ago. I hope beane and melvin are sacked after this season but they won't be sigh.

Sorry I meant to say we are 17-29 since trading cespedes I kid you not. Out of all my years watching many sports soccer, american football, rugby, rugby league, baseball, ice hockey this is the most painful experience I have been through mainly because of how long and drawn out it is and how everyone cna attest that the A's were the best int he league and now one of the worst in the same year because of a greedy and stupid trade. And next year onwards is even worse when we lose hammel and lester not to mention our two best prospects (mainly addison russell) are gone for good.

I see that the current ownership of the Chicago National League Baseball Club have gotten the okay, pending the actions of the rooftop owners across from them on Waveland Avenue, to construct a "monster" of a scoreboard at Wrigley.

 

Please, I say this is too much.  If "Da Cubbies" want a more modern feel to their games, then the club should build a new ballpark in the suburbs, say, Schaumburg or Addison.  Even the proposal from Rosemont is good.

I'll even second that one! That head first dive into the stands to make a  catch, and he did, is what the game is all about! One class act on a team I have to hate! That's what makes sports great!  Derek Jeter!! Much respect from a die hard Oriole fan! It might be just a game, but every now and then some one special comes along (Cal Jr.) and puts it all in perspective!

Still don't know who will go after Tillman. I hope it's Gonzo then Chen and Norris. I think every games going to be tough but I'm confident we can beat them.
