Codizzle got most of it right(my dad's company does the taxes for the collisium. So we actually get the tickets for free... Well, the company pays for them, he gets them).

Ugh. Barton pissed me off and losing Parker hurts a ton. Colón I can live with seeing as he's going to bat this season.

Losing Balfour made me mad.

Good news is outside of Johnson we have a pretty good rotation. Well, had.

Yeah parker being out for the season is really bad he's a great young pitcher and he may not recover from this surgery well enough. Colon we could have gotten cheaper again instead of kazmir who's not bad but not worth what we are paying him and balfour rules and johnson is the worst replacement ever. All we needed to do in the offseason was to retain everyone except for barton and sign some more solid hitters to finally get past verlander in the playoffs among other pitchers.

In his defense our entire offense besides McLouth seemingly disappeared that series. He still played poorly though.

In Defense of our offense lol The Yanks pitched very well that series too so give some credit to them, Mclouth got robbed of that homer in game 5..there is just bad ju ju when we play up there in the playoffs..ie the jeffery mayer incident

We suck again. Sky is falling. Seasons over. Peter will never again spend money on pitchers. Sad face.

I think it was sarcasm, Red Sox are a good team so losing a game isn't going to kill us lol

Was sarcasm/satire of typical Baltimore sports fans.

We are in for a good season. Cruz was a good addition and we are already very good on offense.

I thought Boston lost some players and wasn't going to be that good.

well at least he wont be around long enough to cost us big like he did to you guys in the playoffs and last season off. I hate fellow oakland A fans though because a lot of them actually think he will get better when we all know he gets worse and that he was better than balfour. For some reason they don't rate balfour even though he set a record in saves last year and he only screwed up about 2 out of 70 games and won a playoff game.

Do you guys think Schoop will stay with the Os when Machado is back? Or will Flaherty swith to 2nd base again?

Honestly, I think they go with Schop until he proves that he can't play in the bigs. Flaherty is a better utility guy, he can play 1st,2nd,3rd, SS and OF if needed so I think they like him there. He's still going to get a lot of AB's in that role.

On to last nights game. Jiminez looked good, made 2 mistake pitches that got belted. That happens against the Red Sox from time to time.

Looking forward to seeing Chen pitch tonight.

I think Schoop just may stick. Kids got game! It's his for the taking! Flaherty will make a great fill in all around the infield! (3B, 2nd).

Disappointing. SP hasn't looked good early on. Miguel's good for a nice outing though. On to the next

Yeah but our pitchers are throwing a lot of pitches really early on. Both so far haven't looked so good.

Redsox are a great all around team though, so I ain't worried!
