2014 Baltimore Orioles

Just stating facts and again see the above. We have die hard fans, Baltimore is a sports town, which is why we are passionate about the Orioles as much as the Ravens. KC, not so much. They care more about the Chiefs over the Royals. Baltimore cares about both sports teams.

Opinion, actually. But carry on.

No, I just chuckle at most of what JO says.

I hear you... I'm just irritable right now, for obvious reasons.

Actually look when we clinched the East, and the celebration for winning the ALDS. We have die hard fans who are passionate. KC, not so much, just show up for when they are in the playoffs.

Ehhhh did you not see the entire 2000-2011 years.. Almost all the games I attended were during those years and I've never once seen Camden yards even 3/4 full between those years

Royals have a lot of passionate fans and would consider them a very close market to baltimore

I would have let him hit for Hundley in the 7th and put in Joseph afterwards, but that's just me. I'm not one that believes that Delmon Young is some savior, but Hundley has been awful at the plate.

That situation too.....But yeah, Delmon has been kind of a savior in the postseason. Also the best pitch hitter this year in baseball

Yea no idea why that hasn't happened at least once or twice this series

Hey, no room for common sense and unbiased, rational thinking.

I would be beyond pissed if I was that guy on front row spent 600-700 dollars for those tickets and watched that pile of *crap baseball orioles just displayed

Outside of Kevin and a decent start by Chen

THREE freaking hits... THREE. That's pretty damn horrible for a club that won 96 games.

The table has been set, and the Orioles never took a seat to eat...

To sweep and then to be swept... It's likely coming.

Still a great season even if this is the end of the road.  I'm on the younger side so I've never really seen a winning Orioles team aside from 2012, where we clearly weren't amped up for a WS win.  This has definitely put new life into Baltimore baseball.  It's been a downright horrible series from the team but I'm still glad I've been able to watch this journey.  It was fun.  I still have a glimmer of hope even though it's probably a bit unrealistic.  I'm glad I was finally able to watch this team win and become a legitimate threat.

If they were passionate, why were they standing around like idiots when their team is 3-0, one game away from the World Series and acting like they loss or something. If this was in Baltimore, and the O's just went 3-0 and were a game away from the WS, that place would be rocking all night. KC, they just looked like they didn't care they won. 3-0, do they not understand what that means.

All well, guess winning 4 straight games to advance to the World Series hasn't been done before but there's always the first. Let's do this.

Looking at this lineup adding in Jones' postseason struggles so far in career..

Should've seen this coming

Offense is way too one dimensional and we have steve Pearce hitting 5th..

Got caught dreaming too much I guess

Shame pitching and hitting can't sync.

I used to like the Royals story and all but I hope they get smashed if they advance to WS. Don't like most of their players.

Give credit to em though. They deserve it.

Yeah, I hope they get demolished. Probably not because they're the team of destiny  :eyes:
