Northwestern Football Players can Unionize

Your thoughts on the NLRB's ruling that football players at Northwestern University can unionize... Obviously this ruling will be appealed, but this is historic as the NLRB is saying that college athletes are employees of the university!

Very exciting to see. The NCAA and schools are lawyering up, unfortunately. Their products are fighting back and want in on some of the money.

I tend to think we may see something here which will change the whole world of college athletics.  I'll admit, I never thought of the athletes as employees of the university, but that is a take which is interesting.

There are many more steps to this process, but this was a good start to ending the NCAA's greed, at least somewhat.
