March Madness!

Saw that coming.  Not to be a hater, but I'm not surprised Wichita St lost at all.

I had them losing in one of my brackets as well. Although the rest of it is destroyed, I am glad I got that one right lol

Why isn't this being talked about more?? I'm shocked. Who's going to the final 4, Michigan or Kentucky? Right now it's a battle 53-51 Michigan, with 12 minutes to go.

Michigan choked against Tennessee and barely escaped with a win, and now their choking against Kentucky.

Harrison is too clutch. Kentucky's taking this one.

Well I was right that Kentucky was going to make the final 4 at least. I wasn't right about much else but I got that.

I know some of you don't follow Women's college baskeball, but what a game for Alyssa Thomas as the Terp Women upset the number 1 seed Tennessee in the sweet 16.  Thomas had 33 points.  They play Louisville on Tuesday on ESPN at 7 pm.  This one will be tough as they are playing in Louisville on their home floor, Jeff Walz who is coach for the Cardianls was an assistant on Maryland Coach Brenda Frese's 2006 National Championship team.  Walz has not said anything good about the team where he was used to be. The Terps have beaten him before, but not at their house.  Winner gets a spot at the Women's final four in Nashville.

HUGE shot there. Still 5.7 seconds left however for Wisconsin to respond only down by 1

Harrison has been SO clutch in the tournament.  UCONN vs Kentucky for the championship.  A 7 seed vs an 8 seed, man I love March Madness.

Depressed. I've been a Gator fan since I was a little kid and this is the worst Gator loss I've ever experienced (wasn't alive for the 1995 Nat'l Championship against Nebraska in football, but I was born just in time to watch us beat FSU in the title the following year). This even beats the 2009 SEC Championship loss to Bama. I just really felt like it was our year. Donovan had these dudes playing so well. We had 4 seniors in the starting line up.

This is my 2nd worst sports loss of all time, right behind Cundiff's shank and Evans' drop. All I can think of is how it should have been our year!

Both teams I wanted to win lost. The championship is going to suck.

I don't really mind who wins so I'm going to be rooting for a good game.

Love to see a fellow Gator on board here in the forum! :) As a graduate, both my allegiance…and money…still goes to UF. I thought it was our year too, especially after the long string of victories. All I can say is that UCONN had our number somehow this year, both times, the last being worse than the first. But this morning, as I was heading to church, I passed my flagpole in the front yard with my Gators flag waving on it. We put it up the day we moved here from Gainesville, and it's only come down once to be cleaned. Still proud to be a Gator! :) Now football season needs to get here!!
