I knew it in my heart!!!!

Me too Rob, me too! Absolutely delighted he is back in purple.  Ravens football just wouldn't seem the same without Jacoby!  Can't wait to see his first TD dance!

Watching teams sign players to these insane contracts (some worthy, some not) Im so glad we have the smartest bunch running the Ravens. For most of these teams this is the most excitement they'll get, deep into the regular season they'll be at the back of the bus (as usual) while we're driving.

I know right? He is an absolutely playmaker. Plus he improved a lot before getting injured.

More dancing. Dragonfly. In other news, in Monroe's press conference Ozzie said he was glad he locked up Monroe so he could move on to work on filling other positions on the offensive line. Sounds to me like Ozzie has in his mind that there will be more signings to improve our line.

I'm really happy to see Jacoby back! The team needs playmakers and he is a playmaker. I felt like last year he got kind of a bum rap regarding his productivity. The guy got his knee sprained during the first half of the opener by a rookie teammate creaming him because the rookie wasn't watching where he was on the field. He fights his way back on the field in a matter of weeks and was good for a guy coming off a knee injury. He brings two things to the table KR/PR awesomeness and homerun catches! With JJ, Pitta and Torrey we just need a physical guy with great hands to have a complete receiving corps.

I guess I'm not sure why retaining Jacoby would mean we'd have no interest for Smith - or any other veteran WR.

Ozzie talked about adding WR ... JJ is not an add, hes' a status quo. Certainly an add can mean adding a WR in the draft, but I'm thinking the FO will be more than happy to add a WR that can help game 1 and would love a vet - especially a tough, in-traffic, sure-handed guy to bridge to our draft pick. Our FO is not usually of the mind that they want to take rookie draft picks and ink them in as starters on game 1.

I get all that.  but the man has been a difference maker on many levels... as a return man, and a deep ball receiver.  Maybe not every week, but when it counted on a number of occasions....

If the comments about Graham are true, I think we should go after Steve Smith and draft either Clinton-Dix or Pryor (I would prefer Clinton-Dix but either one would be nice) in the 1st, and then go after Lamarcus Joyner in the 2nd to replace Graham. Joyner could play the slot corner spot and he can play Safety. What do you guys think?

James Jones or Emmanuel sanders?

Forget them both. Go get Steve Smith. Agent saying Smith is not going to play for Carolina next year. He'd love playing at the Bank 8 plus games a year.....

It's so great that J.J.'s career as a Raven actually start as a result of him giving us a playoff game against the Texans.

When he came to Bmore he bought his own jugs machine to help him improve his hands. He has been a playmaking game changer ever since. I am so glad he is here for the long haul.

Sign Gorrer for cheap, has been a steady underrated CB, when he was with us, and then when he played for the Bucs, brings great size to the position....

CB Corey Graham agreed to a 4yr, $16 m deal with the #Bills, source confirmed

Thanks for the info. A couple of us put up similar info(you beat us to it though), but for some reason the Mod Squad deleted ours and it looks like your the lucky one. I took away one of those negs for you. Just because someone doesn't like the fact that is posted doesn't they should neg you for it.

Ian Rapoport is reporting that Jacoby actually turned down more money to stay a Raven...and they said hometown discounts were dead ;)

Jacoby caught 37 passes in only 11 or 12 games last season.

All reports I have read talk about how hard he worked on his catching! That and his good humor and attitude made him an enjoyable Raven to follow.
