i saw him getting out of the suv and walked into the NYG office on nfl network and i almost cried.. not literally but it hurt because i was certain he wouldnt be staying with us. im so happy we made this happen, oddly hes one of our leaders and he is a very respected player in our locker room and he is adored by the fans.

Great move by Ozzie! JJ is a game changer. I did not agree with those who said we should not pay JJ because of how few times he touches the ball. I don't care if he only touches the ball once a game if that one time he changes the game then he is worth the money.

Jacoby is a good KR, but not an answer for our problems at WR. We still need someone Flacco can depend in 3rd down situations. I would like us to solve that problem through the draft. Maybe a Marqise Lee or a Odell Beckham Jr.

Ozzsome! We are looking good one the receiving. Torrey, Jacoby, Marlon, Pitta.

If we can add a veteran like Steve Smith, that would be great.

All we need now is a center & FS.

I love the idea of JJ and Steve Smith's personalities together in our wide receiver core. Also I think Smith would be great for that veteran slot position and JJ can be a deep-ball specialist.

With that average of 3.5 mil per year we still have a great cap situation. My guess is that we still go after a pass catcher, Owen Daniels going on the market is very promising for us considering the connection he has to Gary Kubiak. But I would love to see us snag Corey Graham before it's to late.

I'm Glad he's back in Baltimore. Kind of shocked though, you know you figure with all the flashy lights, and bells and whistles, I thought he would stay in New York, just because of the change of scenery.

I think that are about 5 guys in the NFL than kick and put return, that you would almost get out if your seat to watch run that ball back to the house. When you see these guys catch that ball in the ENDZONE you can tell he's gone for a 109 yards to house. After that first wave, and then hit that sideline its a wrap. Devin Hester, Jacoby Jones, Travis Benjamin, Cordell Patterson, and I'm torn between Patrick Peterson and Dexter McCluster. Well those are the guys that come mind for me anyway.

Jacoby Jones will retire a Baltimore Raven, and once again I'm glad we got him signed. He is a big part of this offense, congrats on the new contract.

Im trusting that Kubiack wanted him back bc he thnks that there is still room to grow but I am a little puzzled by this one. I love what Jacoby brings to the table with special teams but as a WR is he worth the money? I think Marlon Brown has more potential as a slot WR... Jacoby is not a # 2 guy who can take the heat off of Torrey... I think even with this signing... We need a # 2 WR and Marlon is still the man in the slot?

I didn't think I would get so excited to hear that Jacoby was resigned lol.So far this off season is like the opposite of last off season. We're keeping most of the talent that we wanted to keep and we're still saving left over cap space in the process.

After his awesome performance on DWTS (plus saving us in games) he became my favorite Raven. 4 years. Whew!.. Where can I get a JJ jersey?

So Glad JJ is staying in Baltimore! He is worth the money because he is always a threat. He is a Game Changer and a Big Playmaker.

Great news!!! We would not have won the Super Bowl without Jacoby!!! He is a game changer and a real Raven and obviously wanted to stay. Thanks Ozzie!

Ryan... Pharoh raises a good question... losing D. smith would leave a big void at ILB? Any word on those negotiations?

One reason the Ravens are the outstanding organization we all love is that we WON'T hear any word leaked...we'll know when a deal is announced.

I didn't know it would make me this ecstatic either. But it did :)

We get to keep the explosive, super fast player who can play on the offense and special teams, the guy who can get points on our scoreboard and on top of that a charming dude with a sense of humor and a very likable character.

Glad JJ decided to stick around. I don't understand the length of the deal, though. Anyway, Ozzie does, I reckon.
