really like Chris Clemons so underrated. love his cover skills very good.

Same. :D Ravens Goals sign © Mack, (ILB) D.Smith, (RT) Winston, (FS) C Clemons and that would be it. I would be soooooo happy

Sorry for being the party pooper, but while we have around $15m in cap room, we still have a ton of holes to fill. RT, competition (or replacement) for Gino, Daryl Smith, #2 tight end, FS, are some of the more pressing needs we have to fill.

This didn't deserve any negs. It's the truth. Really happy to see Monroe re-signed on the back of Pitta being retained but it's only the beginning. A few of those positions will probably have to be filled by rookies.

I was under the understanding that Mack was only an option.... if the Monroe deal fell through. Why is everyone talking about Mack? I think its unrealistic now to pay Monroe 7.5, yanda alittle more than that, and mack in the 8 mil range.

Doubt we go after Mack (as cool as that'd be).  Probably EDS

several sources have said with getting Monroe for such a low cap hit we will go after Mack still

Tweets came out that the Ravens were strongly considering a push for Mack, and with the Monroe deal cheaper than anticipated, Mack might still be an option.  I consider it unlikely, but I do see how it is possible.

Ecstatic we got this deal done, our OL would've been in dire straits if we lost Monroe. We traded a 4th and a 5th for him, we had to get a return on that investment or we just wasted 2 picks so I'm really happy that deal got hammered out. Having Monroe here last year ended up making a huge difference, I doubt we get him if we just tried to bring him in as FA and not traded for him last year.

also heard that they might be in for mack to also just drive the price up for the browns to overpay for him. which i could see the browns doing.

Raven could be waiting till tomorrow afternoon. Let the browns waste their money on overpaying freeagents and committing a ludicrous 16 mil to revis then structure a front loaded deal with a good sized signing bonus the browns will be stressed to match. This news tells me Mack told his agent. Find me a way off the titanic. I want to win.

Winston? Meh. Don't see it. We aren't going to sign everyone just because they are a former Texan. Daniels looks like medical red flags. Similar skill set to pitta. Maybe not a fit.

Winston is a decent Tackle who is underrated compared to his past.

Eric Winston is a top 10 RT who spent the first 6 years of his career playing in Gary Kubiak's Zone-Blocking scheme. He can be had for $3-4M a year or less. Not sure why you can't see him as a fit. I prefer Zach Streif at RT even tho he's gonna be a little pricier but to each their own i guess...

All that time since the combine that they spent trying to get this done paid off big time. This will certainly help us in FA. Thank you Ozzie and Pat.

Beautiful negotiations. Could have overpaid him to avoid him hitting Free Agency, but they let him test the waters. What a steal for a franchise LT, imo.

This. Ozzie knows this and that's exactly what he is waiting for.

I'd love to have him. He had a terrible line around him, made him look bad but he played great under Kubiak. I think we'll target him. He just fits the right player, right price formula.

Alex Mack, next please !

And Edelman !!

Edelman no. If the patriots were denied, he is probably looking for something most teams won't give him. well, nevermind, just the stupid ones. And i'm seeing a lot of stupid teams today. Ozzie isn't one of them. He won't overpay for someone that probably won't produce outside of Brady's system.
