No to Reed and Clark... unless they would sign for the vet minimum.. on 1 year deals

We still have yet to see the post-draft cuts.

I still think there are younger vet options out there but who wouldn't want to see Ed back with the Ravens. I agree, his leadership and mentor ability is immeasurable and worth significantly more than his contract would be. But this is not the Ed of old and he never will be. some of you need to come to terms with that.

True, he's not the #20 of old but he still commanded respect of not throwing to the side of the field he was on...not many other FS's can say that...

No hate for Reed he's no longer very good and Ryan clark the squeeler Stinks If we dont get youger we will be just likePitts-burg

We are younger but in doing so we also lack experience, veteran leadership.  As much as I like #32 his coverage skills were lacking...

I honestly wouldn't be disappointed if we drafted a FS early in the draft but I would be if Clark is our starter come next season without a plan B (like last year with huff). Besides, I always love it when we go D early in the draft. Just look at ozzies record:)

and please don't get me wrong I know that the old Reed is long gone but just saying that if Ed is signed for the vet min then he's def going to contribute to the team in many other ways than just on the field. I'm not calling for Ed to be the starter but if we are going to sign a vet FS then I hope it's Ed not Clark.

Brendandeal I totally agree with u and absolutely trust Ozzie and them in company. I too am looking forward to next year. A healthy Pitta Ngata and Suggs! A new WR for Flaco to toy with! A FS away from a top 10 defense! I'm totally buying into the idea that we ended up 8-8 in a year that everything went wrong so I'm optimistic abt our chances.

In Ozzie we trust!

For those that are interested in the draft and like to follow prospects, if you are looking for draft video you might give http://draftbreakdown.com/ a try. They are a great site. With this site you won't have to be concerned with language on these videos either. They have every draft prospect listed by several categories, ie position, school, class, and videos available.  They have multiple videos on each prospect by game. In each game video they have per player, they show all their specific plays throughout one game...the good and the bad, it isn't just highlight plays.

They also have mock drafts, really great articles that cover a wide range of diverse topics related to the draft, prospects, etc. and some good links to other draft sites if you are so inclined.  The site is used by the national media and scouts to search for players, and it is well respected. It is a great resource and is really easy to navigate.  If you are into the draft, as many of our posters are, this a great site, lol.  Hope this helps.

I like the idea of homegrown players staying. I hope Dickson stays and under Kubiak who knows? He may blossom into a real threat as a receiver because he is better at blocking than Pitta already!

how about sparing some $$$ and getting Jackson from Philly to add to Flacco's receivers, must admit we would be that much more dangerous
