Baltimore Mariners

Anyone here follow the newly resurrected Baltimore Mariners of American Indoor Football?  The only thing similar to the past franchise is the name and the home arena.  They have a new ownership group based out of Pennsylvania.  The old team went undefeated on their way to beating Wyoming for the AIFA title in Charm City, but the franchise was stripped by the league because the owner was convicted for wire fraud, using embezzled money to run the team.  The head coach they hired was the offensive coordinator for the previous franchise.  If you want to buy tickets unless you want to sit up front, I suggest you just get them at the box office where the fees are lower, because they will probably draw about 3,000 a game and the upper level is closed.

If you need to get tickets, with them drawing 3000-4000 a game, you can probably find good seats at the box office an hour or two before game time, with lower fees that if you bought them at Ticketmaster.com.  I will just do that instead.

Went tot the first one which was a rout over Atlanta. They lost last week to Cape Fear. If the Mariners win out they will get home field for the first round. Tickets at the door start at 20 bucks, $15 plus 3 service fee and 2 venue fee. Still cheaper that Ticketmaster.com

The Mariners cancelled their last two games because of financial problems, played all their games on the road and won the AIF title over Cape Fear.   This team in Baltimore in name only and I don't think they will be around next year.
