Free Agents To Consider: Defense

Yeah Graham was a big part of the Ravens. I don't think we panic and get anyone in the first but this could open things up in the second or third for a corner.

None of the corners in this draft impress me. Asa or Chykie get the nod.

That's exactly how I feel. Corey was awesome. He was a nice humble guy in person too. I hate to see good character players leave. I'll never forget the feeling I had the second time Graham intercepted Peyton during the playoffs.

Problem is I am not overly impressed by Asa or Chykie.

Chykie showed lots of promise in 2012, Asa looked good in preseason (Take it with a grain of salt)

Yeah but I at least want some competition for them. We have to get at least someone else, plus you can never have too many corners

Look how many CB's are still out there in free agency...Oz will find the right player / right price kind of dude.

Good for Corey on the deal. He'll always be remembered for being the guy who picked off Peyton in OT and for being a big part of our run.

Losing Corey definitely hurts.   But like every year, Ozzie & the FO seem to find a gem player like Corey/Josh Wilson or some other player for bargain late in the FA.   Corey did more than what he was asked of him.   I'm proud of Corey.  He got his ring, now he got his payday!

I think FS is the more important concern in free agency - the draft is much deeper at CB than FS.

There are alot of solid corners out there, some high upside guys too , but none are young and I have no idea the type of $$$ they want. Considering Corey Graham fot 4mil (WHAT?!) I would avoid the CB market.

Captain Munnerlyn isn't a bad CB he is a physical player?  I wonder how much cap he would command?

Youngest CB on the market and coming off a great season. I'd love to have him but he probably wants too much.

reports said a few hours ago that clemons was brought in for visit with the steelers, and this was after they signed mike mitchell. maybe they believe, just like me, that mike mitchell isnt quality starter material? a DC like lebeau can never have enough db's

Na they gave him a 5 year 25 million dollar contract. you don't pay someone that money and not have them start from day 1. Many players go in for visits because teams have interest, but I highly doubt the steelers sign him.

He played way to good last year and after what shield's got there is no way we are touching him. He probably wants to be a starting corner too even though nickel corner's do play a lot, it's different.

true, didn't know the contract details. still think we need to pull the trigger on clemons because i think he is hands down our best option, stop waiting around and make it happen

Well Patriots found a good replacement for Talib.  I was hoping the Browns would sign Revis so we could get Alex Mack much cheaper.

I agree with you there, but we should definitely take a guy high up in the draft unless we think Omar Brown is a capable backup but I'm not sold. Someone in the 3rd or 4th would be nice.

I'm sad to see Graham go. He was a solid player for us. But, I am also glad that he's getting paid and gets the chance somewhere else, where he might get a bigger role on defense.
