Free Agents To Consider: Offense

No way we are taking a wr or te the first round now that we have no FS. Its officialy Ha ha. Calling it now. Ozzie doesnt lesrn and will select another bama guy

We don't need a stud. Just someone capable like Clemons or DeCoud to put Elam at SS (thats all i care about). No need to waste another 1st rounder on a safety. Same for center. As much as we want Mack, we don't need a stud. Just someone better than than Gino. So odds are WR much more likely than FS in 1st.

It'll be the best available......... Lee, Ebron or maybe even Martin.  Unless we trade up, ha ha will probably be gone, as will Evans.

No chance ha ha will be before 17. Too much better talent before him. He would be around the 23rd pick

I get that he is old, but I truly believe Steve Smith has a big year in the way we need him (Example: mentoring Torrey and Marlon, clutch 3rd down catches, leadership, a few td's, decent yardage). Remember last year he was the Panthers number 1 wr so he drew the opposing teams best week in and week out and at 34 still put up pretty good numbers considering. Also consider the Panthers were so sorry at WR he couldn't play slot which is his best position as much as he should have. They needed him outside. Add in the fact that his balls are arguably as big as Justin Tucker's, he always shows up in big games even hurt, plays with a huge chip on his shoulder that will only be bigger this year, and is probably one of the toughest players in the game and I don't get why more people aren't more excited about him coming. Me personally I will be extremely thrilled when this is done and believe it should be priority number 1 like Oz is treating it

Dead on. Steve Smith would be a huge singing for this Team.

I don't understand this Bama/Ozzie, thing. Over the last 10 years I can only think of 3 Alabama players we have drafted and none of them were in the first round. We drafted Upshaw in 2012 in the second, Cody in 2010 in the second as well, then I think the next was LeRon McClain in the fourth round of the 2007 draft. Why do people keep saying he will never learn and keeps drafting Alabama guys? In the last 5 years he has drafted two guys in the second round from Alabama. Doesn't seem like the biggest pattern in the world.

ok, we'll see. I still think we go with the best offensive player(O line, WR, TE) that's available.

Now that we've plugged some of the holes I don't feel so bad going into the draft.  I really would love to see someone like Lee or Ebron taken, but I will not worry if it's someone that I totally didn't expect to be picked.

My thoughts exactly. Across the board I feel fairly comfortable at every position. We kept all our Free Agents which secures many spots (Especially LT). But ... We do have only 1 TE and I would LOVE to see us draft Ebron to compliment Pitta. But if he's taken, Lee is a favourite of mine; When you watch his film .. He finishes every play he can, he's a natural baller.

I kinda figured EDS would go to the Bucs when a visit was announced, but hopefully this gets the market going for BDLP to the Ravens.

If the Ravens were to seriously move Osemele to right tackle I would think we could pick a guy like Su'a-Filo on the second round of the draft

So do people still think we should go WR with our first pick or look to plug up another hole? Personally I would like to grab an OT in the first and look to fill C, SS, G, CB in the later rounds.

TE is probably a bigger need.  Kubiak likes Two TEs, and we have ONE on the roster (pitta) and Furstenburg is a practice squader

All the start-able OTs will be gone by the time we pick. We also don't need a SS. I say we trade down to low 1st, get an extra late 2nd, and grab a FS (Pryor in 1st since Dixon will be gone) and Matthews in the 2nd round along with role players. I'd also love Ebron in the 1st, but that'd leave FS as a major hole unless Omar can step up.
