To clear things up. To do a final bid after the bidding period you have to be winning before berad said "final five" and then get outbid in the last five minutes. Any bid after berad says "over" are invalid. Those people who were winning and subsequently outbid in those final five minutes are meant to say "I want to bid on x player" before 7.05.

Throughout the process we have allowed a grace period on the I want to bid On said player posts because it turned out five minutes was too Harsh. 15 is probably more appropriate moving forward

Same thing happened to me earlier.  Something to look at for next year, but just suck it up and move on for now.

i didn't particularly want him, I wanted a couple of safety's for that money but they just got to high, so I went for the best player in that free agency IMO. Could make an argument for a few others but no one would agree

Miami Hurricane is right. it doesn't sound like he got a chance to bid. He lead before the final five.

 

My understanding, Berad, was you had to have the highest before the final five and you could bid.

I definitely agree. He was who I had saved the majority of my cap space for. Would've liked to have kept Pollard, Griffin, McCourty, Verner core in tact. Well done.

That was my bad on misunderstanding the rule. I wanted to see a bidding war ensue because that kid is a beast.

Again to clarify, it's the person leading going into the final five minutes that ends up not winning said player that has to say "I want to bid on xyz". He then goes against the person that actually won said player

Had two of them and got Pollard.. I have Blidi Wreh-Wilson and Coty Sensabaugh who both have potential, would've just loved the playmaker Verner back but the cupboard isn't bare I don't guess! haha
