According to Rocksteady, it's not happening due to their commitment of the Batmobile. Stated it's not possible on last generation hardware due to what they want to do with it.

This game looks great, but only for Xbox One, PS4 and PC is not what I want to hear...

Im just now getting around to playing Arkham City from my Playstation Plus subscription and it is a blast, especially that Mr. Freeze boss fight, so definitely looking forward to this. The map is apparently immensely larger for more free roaming / Batmobile related fun.

Very late I know, but my inner nerd is so excited. Not much of a gamer, but I LOVE Batman.  So I've played the first three(haven't beaten Origins yet cause I've been busy lately). 

 

Arkham City is maybe the best game I've ever played.  SO EXCITED.
