No big deal. I expect Cowboys to go D and us to go O.

depends on where they do their cuts to get under the cap

I think it only matters if a team like the jets now wants to trade with Dallas in front of Baltimore otherwise I expect Dallas to draft defense

This is huge. Top story at ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN. Bob Costas is all over it at Sochi. White House weighs-in at 10:00.

Bob Costas isn't in Sochi, he took a "redeye" flight back to the states last week.... :drums:

They're going to trade with the Patriots and it will be similar to the Dez Bryant fiasco again. :(

I doubt that and honestly I wouldnt mind the Ravens trading down to get some extra picks.

...we were one pick away from Dez. 1 pick. He was coming. They made the announcement. We were gonna pick him...and then those damn Cowboys.

I dont want them anywhere near us in the draft...especially one pick ahead.

The WR from Clemson will find a way to fall to the Cowboys at 16 and Jones won't be able to control himself lol

Yeah, this slums... Old man Jerry will probably find a way to screw us. He'll probably trade his 1, 2, and 3 to the squeelers for Polamalu and a punter!!!

May I remind everyone from last year:

Cowboys 31: Projected 3rd Round Center in the first round, despite need at Safety.

Ravens 32: Matt Elam

Jaguars: 33: Jonathon Cyprien

Trust me we have nothing to worry about as long as they don't tie up Jerry Jones, take away the keys and lock him out of the War Room.

In their defense Travis Frederick actually turned out to be a very good player.

Projected 3rd round or not... Frederick was a beast last year..

We could've used him

A Center that had a pro bowl caliber season...What were our offensive woes? Poor Center seemed like a big one.

While I understand what you are saying, who gave him a 3rd round grade? Mel Kiper? He though Jimmy Clausen was a first round pick so I don't put too much merit and what a talking hair piece has to say.

did anybody know this that All the 8-8 teams rotate picks. So the Ravens get the 17th, then the 16th, then the 15th, then the 14th (traded for Monroe), then back to the 19th (traded for Monroe), then the 18th, then finally the 17th (traded for Shipley). At least that's how I understand it.

I doubt it'll really matter. We don't have many of the same needs.

We still have a great spot to get some good talent.

Not a big deal cause I would be surprised if Dallas took a WR in the 1st round .. Assuming thats what we are looking to take.

It doesn't matter!  One of our rivals will move up ahead of us and take a player that we had on our board.  Seems like they always do!

There's a lot of talent still to be had and with the FA's we have to deal with I really don't think this hurts us. We have several needs to fill and this is a deep draft. Get 'em Ozzie! :control:

I'd rather pick ahead of them in the second round anyway. That's the pick I'm most excited/nervous about this time.
