A legend has fallen...

It was a really tough decision…  Players like him don't come around too often.

Really happy to get Justin Jones at this point.  He has some serious character and work ethic concerns.  However, the guy is a monster at 6'8 and 270 lbs.  After seeing what Joseph Fauria meant to the Lions last year, I figured it was worth the risk as a UDFA in hopes I get a true red zone threat.

I am fairly sure Brandon Dixon went already

A search in the draft and UDFA threads turned up nothing.

Dayonne Nunley is reunited with college teammate Zac Dysert and fellow Miami alum Tom Crabtree. Not sure I should be this happy about having 3 guys from a school who's team went 0-12 last year but I am. He has some potential as a backup slot CB and KR/PR.

I could have sworn someone took him earlier but I might have messed that up

Nowhere to be found, but….

A legend has fallen...

Ikard has already been taken in the 7th by the Titans.

Damn. Was hoping Jerome Smith would fall to me. Been following him since last season.

So close lol.  He wasn't one of the original guys I was considering, but during my break from studying, I decided to look a bit more into him and came away more impressed than the other few guys I was looking at.

Shoot. He was still on my board for some reason. It has been changed to Keith Wenning.

He's a bit stiff and lacks lateral mobility, but I see him as a potential #3 or even a #2.

Yeah he's pretty much a downhill runner only.  Can't go wrong in the 4th round of UDFA though.  Doubt he'd make my team but I'm all about building depth and competition.

At this juncture, I still have 11 players I've rated as draftable on my board.  Really goes to show how deep this draft is.

Fixed again. My board is failing me! It is Dan Fox, LB, Notre Dame now.

He was drafted too...

Just kidding.

I was planning on going 3 LBs originally but T3h took Derrell Johnson.

The signings are announced. Henry Josey caught my eye several times throughout the scouting process as a draftable talent, and will compete for the fourth RB spot with James White and Senorise Perry in what is a deep position group. Chris Burnette impressed me in his ability to consistently get to the second level. I actually had several players ranked ahead J.R. Collins, but despite the downfalls, he flashed his natural pass rushing ability enough to entice me.

I like Josey.  He was my 2nd choice behind Jerome Smith at my last selection.  I probably would have gone with Josey if I didn't have a similar type of guy in Barner.

Thanks. He and Smith were the only RBs on my list, and Smith would've been my option if Josey wasn't available.

2 questions:

1. I'm on the clock right now in UDFA, but I'm at work and only know 1 guy I want. Can I just post him and add the other 2 later?

2. Does the rule of 51 apply to the remaining FA or do we have to pay for them?

Sorry if these have already been asked and answered, I'm not really able to go back and look right now

I am unsure on the first but I can answer the 2nd one for you. Due to the rule of 51, only the top 51 players count on your cap so if you have 51 guys getting .5 stars or more, you can keep signing as many guys as you want (or at least to 90 lol). We did put a limit that you can sign a guy once every 24 hours however to keep it in check but yes you can sign players essentially for free.

1.  I wouldn't see why not.

2.  All remaining free agents are free if you are over 51 players, or 0.5 stars if you're not.  The second part doesn't even really matter since there's pretty much no other way to spend money at this point.

It matters if you have 0 cap space lol. Ill post my one guy now and pick out 2 more after work.

I think everyone is above 51 at this point although I don't care enough to check lol.

But yeah that's fine.  Just make a note of that at the end of your selection just so people are aware if they don't see this.

So does anyone know for sure if Chicago and Tennessee are still participating?  I saw both of them online and viewing the UDFA thread yesterday but neither of them made selections.
