That is the rule in the NFL, but why is it not on the rule page?

 

I don't know why its not there but we used this last year and earlier today––in this thread––I told Clutch Ravens that tagging Jairus Byrd would be extra due to it being the 2nd year in a row.

Just go add it to the rules page...

 

That would still be added after the trade was made...I read the rules, screen shoted the last edit time on there. 

 

Listen, I wanna play a fair game but that wasn't under the rules. Adding it after I trade, is not fair.

Most of the rules up there are common sense, and this is a fantasy game so "common sense" doesn't really apply (hence extended cap and the June 1st rule we made for every team).

It wasn't in the rules.

Sorry it wasn't spelled out. It is a pretty rare occurrence, but SAM knew full well about it and should have explained to you. Its just a basic Franchise Tag rule that we all have to abide by.

You have two options. Take the trade back or pau the extra. We aren't going to make exceptions because you whine about it not being posted.

I didn't think I had to but at the end of the day, it's just a game and it's not worth the trouble because the rules weren't clear. I know what the NFL rule is but we aren't exactly running this with all of the NFL rules. Just selective ones. Which is fine. But whoever wrote the rules should of taken the 2 seconds to write the franchise rules better.

You know someone is going to pay a ton for him though. That's why I traded for George Wilson. He can start if I need him to and I can wait until the right SS comes along at the right price. It affords a ton of flexibility.
