Just a helpful reminder, the most common cap errors so far have been on trades. Remember, the base salary of players you receive gets added to your salaries and the cap hit - dead money of departing players gets removed. It might be easiest just to worry about player salaries in your trade calculations and keep the stuff for draft picks up in that section of the SoF.

no, I am sick at that trade, I was agonisingly close to getting him, only Clint didn't think he could handle the cap hit of one of the players involved in the trade and by the time I replied to offer another pick to smooth over the deal yous had agreed. Would have been perfect alongside quinn, long and brockers, instantly a dline rivialing the panthers

Whitworth should be a better RT than Smith was.. So not much loss there. I do downgrade a bit at guard, but Boling isn't bad.

Your DL is great. Atkins is far better in a 4-3 so don't switch to a 3-4. Andre Smith was the best RT in football a year ago, I doubt Whitworth can be that good at RT especially since he's fairly worthless Run blocking. Also, I'm a bit confused as to why you traded smith... He was pretty good this year as well.

IDK.... I was a bit skeptical to take it, but Whitworth won't be bad.........It's not like he was my only option lol...

 

I thought that Vollmer and a few others were better. 

 

 

I wanted a young and promising Dlinemen to go alongside Atkins. And a 3rd rounder that I needed. I slightly downgraded on the line(worst comes to worst I take a RT in FA), but got a lot better on the dline.
