How about Hawaii ?

35 posts in this topic

Wile it still is about ten years off, my wife and I have made the decision to retire in Hawaii.  Any Ravens fans there ?  We love throwing football parties.  My wifes secret wing recipe is amazing.

We need to have a party when opening game who can we invite ?

Big Island is where a lot of the people live. Maui is a tourist attraction. Kauai is great for hiking but not much else.

Oahu is the only one with a real city, and is touristy in a sense put probably the most practice to live in(I would know, I'm probably going to school there)

Ooooooh good info.  Thanks.

Does that mean the big island is crowded ?  ( understanding "crowded" can be a subjective term )

No... Not really.

Big Island is populated but not as populated as Oahu....

I meant to say where most of the locals live...

I appreciate your input.  If we are still hanging out here in ten years I might hit you up for some more info.

Oahu is incredible, I spent some time there with family and in recent years. Stay off the beach roads during rush hour, buy a waterproof camera.

9 lanes to four... All I can say lol. Coming from someone who goes there a lot, it's worse than DC.

On average it's about the same..

But at their worst, LA traffic will move a quarter of a mile in a period of 2 hours sometimes(I would know, I've been in that)

Okay here is an important question.

My wife and I LOVE milk.

Between us and our daughter we drink about six gallons a week.

How much is a gallon of milk in Hawaii?

Everything is priced a little bit higher although Walmart and Foodland are pretty good.

If you like milk you'll love Snow Factory, or any shave ice.
