I Have Also Crossed Over To The Purple Side

Whats up, I'm a new fan. from NY, never really had a favorite NFL team, just liked football. I liked a few teams but never had a number 1, the teams were 49ers, Jaguars, G-Men, and Ravens.

I decided to adopt the Ravens as my favorite team for many reasons:

1- I hate Hines Ward so much... and that bounty on him is well deserved i think. And i was glad T sizzle had plans for 86, some people probably will hate on me for that
2- Purple is sweet
3- Bart Scott throwing the flag last year on monday night vs pats was cool to me. i might get hated on again for that too
4- Ed Reed and Ray Ray are among my favorite players. (others are Maurice Jones-Drew, Greg Jennings)
5- I appreciate great defense

As a side note, I think that the "Ravens Fans Unite" sub-forum is a bit misleading. We have a lot of people joining the board and they're all posting in the "Ravens Talk" section. Maybe there should be a line added to let people know that introductions belong in the Ravens Fans Unite description or an entirely new board. Just a suggestion.

Don't worry about it, I just think that some people completely miss the Ravens Fans Unite forum as it seems like it's a place for people to discuss pregame plans.

Edit: It's no big deal, the mods will probably move it soon anyways.

I thought i was the only one here.. Everyone likes the Giants and Jets so the Ravens are always getting bad talked here despite us having a better record than the Jets.. Good to see another New Yorker in his right state of mind.. Welcome to the boards..

If he was a Raven, Patriot or Cowboy, I'd hate his guts. But, any other team and I probably respect him.

I know, I waited and picked them up late and it helped me get better players in a few other positions
