I'm moving Stefen Wisniewski to LG fot three reasons

1) He has a lot of experience playing this position

2) He is just as good as a run/pass blocker here as he is at C

3) He can't snap the ball to save his life

He's great at any interior OL spot. You got a nice foundation there with him and Veldheer (pending a franchise tag)

So I know we've been over cap a lot I just want to make sure I have it right.

Cap savings on basic cuts are: Cap hit - dead money = cap savings? As in base salary is not part of the equation? And cap savings on our 1 post june 1st cut is simply: base salary = cap savings?

Quick question, why does PFF credit Michael Johnson (DE) with 5 sacks, but the league credits him with 3.5?

They count half sacks as a whole one.

So does missing your pick work the same way it has in the past? You're free to pick at anytime?

Yes.

Also, please don't talk about players on the block and such until all of the teams are take.  It is unfair to those without a team.

Hmmm. I have an interesting situation. Chris snee 2014 is a player option. Do I have to keep him on the team for this contract or not?

What are be going to do about the Jimmy Graham situation? Is his tag going to be as a receiver or tight end? Could affect people's decision to pick the Saints or not.

I have posted the State of Franchise thread.  Every team needs to have one of these posted in order to participate.  It allows you and everyone else to see what moves you have made, what draft picks you have, what your salary cap room is etc.

No actual cuts or such until all people have a team.

Use mine to base yours off of.  Here is the link to last years as well: http://boards.baltimoreravens.com/topic/51524-2013-forum-draft-state-of-the-franchise/

So we're allowed to use the actual cap carryover? I thought we were all operating under the 127 number.

You are allowed to have carryover if you so choose.  The starting cap is 132.5 to allow for the draft picks.   Just minus the carryover from your current cap total.

we always add the standard draft allotment ie 5.5 to our cap allowance because we cant uaw creative accounting.

Alright, so technically our starting cap is 132.5 with a standard draft, and then we make adjustments from there?

Yes.  The cap starts at 132.5 (a normal draft is 5.5 stars so we added 5.5 to 127) for everyone and then you do all of your subtracting and adding.
