9 in the first day isnt bad considering all the chaos leading up to how we were gonna do this thing. Hopefully we can get all teams in by tomorrow.

Yeah that's worked in.  If someone wants them, they can pick them.  At least that's my opinion.

I did, I so did it, watch me now I'm going up lol

Agreed. I don't know what masochist would want to deal with that cap though

now you wait a minute here lol

Hopefully he does.  That way I won't have to choose between the team I think would be more fun and the Ravens.

I think Nobody is on in the wee hours of the morning, and I'll be up for another 4 hours so maybe we'll get more done tonight.

dang we are good, made the world spin and spin lol

Previously all FAs have gone into the open market. You have the right to Franchise one player, but outside of that it's a cruel world.

this is to say my RAVENS will franchise Monroe!!!

ps: Pitta's franchise tag is at WR level (% of plays last year), so can't do it

I guess you could cut Austin at 8 but Romo is at 21 and as a league average QB in decline who has won only 1 playoff game, he isn't worth anything close to that. Better off starting fresh IMO. Not my problem though, I'm not taking Dallas.

Romo is way better than league average. He is not the problem with that team. Austin on the other hand is below average wr.

Remaining teams in no particular order:

Buffalo Bills

Miami Dolphins

New England Patriots

New York Jets

Pittsburgh Steelers

Jacksonville Jaguars

Tennessee Titans

Denver Broncos

Kansas City Chiefs

San Diego Chargers

Dallas Cowboys

Philadelphia Eagles

Washington Redskins

Chicago Bears

Detroit Lions

Green Bay Packers

Atlanta Falcons

Carolina Panthers

New Orleans Saints

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

St. Louis Rams

San Francisco 49ers

Seattle Seahawks

False, that is clearly in order of divisions.

QBs I'd rather have than Romo, in no particular order:

Brady, Flacco, Luck, P, Manning, Griffin, E. Manning, Foles, Stafford, Rodgers, Newton, Brees, Ryan, Kaepernick, Wilson

QBs that are about equal to Romo:

Rivers, Cutler

I'd say that puts him right around the league average. Not trying to start a debate here, just my opinion.

Ah, I see what you mean. You consider him average when comparing him to the other starting QBs in today's league, that's actually reasonable.

My opinion:

Brady, peyton, brees, Rodgers

Flacco, Eli, Big Ben, romo, luck,

Cutler , rivers, wilson, Newton,

Kap, stafford

Top 15 to me. Last couple are average. Griffin dalton maybe average. After that below average.

Slot him right after tebow

I know you are joking but it seems like he's gone from overrated to underrated. Ryan is a great QB and you can absolutely win a title with him. He isn't as good as Flacco but come on now, look at what he's done and tell me he isn't top 10.

Matt Ryan?

You're right. I'd put him in the second group as well. Very comparable to romo IMO.

I'm surprised the Lions are off the board.  They aren't as good off as they appear, I think they're over the cap at the moment and might have to get rid of Suh.  Interesting teams taken so far.  For what it's worth, I think SAM made a great choice because the Bengals don't have a lot of holes and can just focus on getting the best players.

fair assessment -- I must say my pick will be based on which team I like the most, not as much cap, FA, draft picks, etc. Not sure if this is what happened through the first ten picks but I am guessing so

The Bengals were my second pick behind the Browns. My third is still up there

Not for me lol.  I picked a team I don't like, but they have cap room, tons of draft picks, and very few free agents.  I'm in it for the rebuild.

interesting--I wonder how others went about their team picks and what drew them to it. I am hoping I get the team I want, not sure if they will be desired at this point...I may need backups

The Vikings are in my top 3 teams that I like, but they were in a situation I like as well. They have a stout OL, which i like to build around, flexibility on how to build from here, and I'm a fan of Mike Zimmer. Should be fun to draft in the top ten, but admittedly I was going to be the Pats again until I looked at their free agents and cap situation. No way to keep all their guys, especially with the way the game is set up.

Yeah if there's a team with a ton of FA's, it's impossible to keep the team together.  That's something we should look into next season if we continue with this game.  Implementing some sort of "exclusive negotiations" for FA would be great.

I picked a team with a good foundation to work with. And because I love me some defense. I almost went with the Panthers though tbh
