So how does free agency work exactly?  I know we can't exactly re-sign our own guys without letting the market dictate their value.

 

I didn't do this last year, so just a general question.  Have you done or even considered possibly allowing each team to retain a couple of their UFA's to a reasonable contract, approved by the coco?  Just curious here.  Trying to figure out my plans lol.

If I remember correctly, you can tag one of your players. The rest are gone and you just bid on 'em. Don't quote me on that though.

In the end it won't matter all that much. There are still some rules issues we are working out, and it will take some time for everybody to make their "State of Franchise" posts.
