Why do I always forget about Lavonte David? Now I feel like an idiot lol

Because he plays for the Bucs.

JJ Watt should have been the DPOY, and Keenan Allen was far more impressive than Eddie Lacy.

I knew Watt wouldn't get it because they don't like giving it to the same guy back to back, but any of the other 6 I mentioned were more deserving.

Agreed about Keenan Allen.

Freaking Charles Tillman making me tear up, that was beautiful

Totally agree. Extremely touching and that's a great humanitarian.

How did Richardson win DROY over Alonso? How in the world??

Richardson was way better than Alonso, who padded his stats with a terrible game by Flacco.

Alonso would've won if the season ended after week 6.

Im so glad Derrick Brooks made the HOF on his first try so it could make bruschi look foolish after he said that brooks wasnt a first ballet hof'er

Bruschi isn't a hall of famer. So he can cry all he wants.

Jones, Brooks, Reed, Strahan all deserve it.... All without question

I don't think the other ones deserve it though.....

Williams was basically an Ed Reed prototype... He definitely deserved it. 50+ career INTs and more than a handful of return TDs.

Ray Guy also deserves to be in the HoF. Punters are a vital part of the game, and if you're the best ever at your position you deserve a spot.

Idk enough about Humphrey to comment though.

Alonso was everywhere for the Bills for the majority of the season, not just the Ravens game.  Not saying Richardson didn't have a great year though.

Punters are people too, man.

Everytime I hear that phrase, I can't help but think back to the 2012 Draft when Rich Eisen had the best reaction ever to the Jaguars taking a Punter in the third round.

Let me ask you guys, and yes Strahan was a future hall of famer, no doubt about it. Did the fact the Super Bowl being played in NY have any extra influence on him being a first ballot Hall of Famer? I mean to me it seemed it did play a little part into it plus he is a analyst for FOX. I'm not trying to be a conspiracy theorist or anything but I'm just wondering if anyone else had that same thought?

Tonight at 8pm ET on Fox.

Don't recall them announcing the awards before the show which is weird.

MVP - Peyton Manning

OPOY - Peyton Manning

DPOY - Luke Kuechley

OROY - Eddie Lacy

DROY - Sheldon Richardson

HCOY - Ron Rivera

COPY - Philip Rivers

The NFL also announced the newest class of hall of famers:

Walter Jones (LT)

Andre Reed (WR)

Aeneas Williams (DB)

Derrick Brooks (OLB)

Ray Guy (P)

Claude Humphrey (DL)

Michael Strahan (DE)

Really thought Robert Mathis should have taken home DPOY...19.5 sacks and 8 forced fumbles. Also was really surprised to see Sheldon Richardson take DROY over Kiko Alonso. Sure Richardson played dominant, but his stats werent off the charts.

And what made me really mad was Andre Reed going in as opposed to Marvin Harrison. Reed really only had a handful of good seasons out of the 16 that he played, whereas every single one of Marvin Harrisons seasons (except for in 2007 where he was injured) was great including 8 straight years with atleast 82 catches 1,100 yards and 10 TDs.
