Ok I found this article and I gotta disagree with some of these. first of all, how is pittsburgh's RB situation better than ours? How are thier recievers better than ours? how is thier Dline better? how is or ST better :P . I gotta disagree with some of these. Thoughts?

Wow I disagree with so many of these its not even funny. Here's how I would have it.

QB- Steelers (I'll give this to them basically on it being Flacco's rookie year, though he's having a great year)
RB- Ravens (#5 rushing attack in the league, this should be a shoo in)
WR- Tie (Ward vs. D. Mase/Washington vs. Clayton flip a coin to decide if you really want one or the other)
OL- Ravens (#5 rushing attack and Steelers have allowed 40+ sacks, this is an obvious win)
DL- Ravens (Ngata, Pryce, Banaan all having solid years. Can anyone doubt Ngata's dominance at NT this year?)
LB- Steelers (Statistically, they are crushing Ray Ray and co. in terms of sacks)
DB- Ravens (We have the most INTs in the league, why would they ever give this to the Steelers?)
ST- Steelers (Mainly due to our coverage struggling this year, though Koch has been a monster this year)
Coach- Tie (Wow Tomlin has one more year of EXP, give me a break. The defensive coaches are both masters of their craft, though I would personally take Cam over the Steelers' offensive coordinator)

I agree with them in general but as far as how they match up against us I disagree.

ST I agree totally, ours has been horrible and is finally getting up to playing "Ravens Football" as Harbs might say.

I'd also say that none of the Scouts Inc. people has ever liked the ravens.

Again, I say who cares what the analist think. We know our team is bound for the playoffs, and i refuse to listen to the so called analyists. We know what our team can do. I'm looking forward to a win on sunday. Enough said

Wow, that's all I can say. Willie Parker has been banged up all season, so their every-down back has been Mewelde Moore- oooh scary. The areas which I will give the nod to the Steelers is at the QB (just because Worthlessberger has been the league longer) and special teams (for whatever reason ours has been lacking this season). Our recieving core is almost identical (veteran possesion recievers with young speed.) They must be smoking crack if they think that the Steelers LBs and CBs are better than ours (I haven't seen much of their LBs coverage abilities, they're predominantly one-dimensional with the pass rush and I'm sorry last week proved Ed Reed>Troy Polumalu)

Pittsburgh steeler fans are a lot more in number then the Baltimore Ravens fans. If you subtract the amount of steelers fans that do not have TV or the Interweb add in the amount of bandwagon fans around the country it equals a lot more advertising dollars in ESPN hands...thus the positive ranking of steelers.

If they are so good, wouldn't they be working for NFL teams? Scouts Inc. is just a bunch of former players and coaches who couldn't hack it. I never read into what they say.

QB - Steelers
Roethlisberger right now is one of the worst QBs in football but he can bounce back any game with a 4 TD and 0 INT performance.

RB - Ravens
Parker is garbage, useless as an inside rusher. Moore is a good 3rd down back but that's about it. Ravens have a lot more depth and better players overall.

FB - Ravens
No brainer.

WR - Steelers
Ravens have zero depth. The starters are pretty much the same. Ward is better than Mason and Holmes is more proven than Clayton.

TE - Ravens
Miller is a good blocker but Heap is a better receiver.

O-Line - Ravens
Gaither, Brown and Grubbs are way better than whatever Pittsburgh has.

D-Line - Ravens
Ngata is better than Hampton, Pryce is better than Smith.

LB - Ravens
Depends what you're looking for. If you want sacks go with Pittsburgh, if you want complete linebackers that can play the run and cover people you have to go with Baltimore.

CB - Steelers
Rolle and Washington are getting better each week though.

S - Ravens
Reed is better than Polamalu and Leonhard is better than Clark.

Give Steelers secondary more credit. Troy leads the league in picks. Ike Taylor shut down Andre Johnson, (Santana and Randy) Moss, TO, TJ Houshy, Edwards, and Wayne. He was assigned to cover TO and Randy Moss in consecutive weeks and held them to a total of 7 catches and 75 yards. We have some pretty good coverage LBs since you did't know. Besides Reed I think its unfair to say Ravens even have a secondary. 7 ints > 6 ints.

Why is this particular message board convince Steelers have mostly bandwagon fans? We have sold out every game since 1972 except one. That was becuase most of the players striked and Rooneys were nice enough to by back the fans tickets.

Nobody is saying Pittsburghers (or what ever your plurality) aren't true fans. We're saying the Steeler fans around here, who make up most of the "Yellow and Black" hoard who show up at M&T jumped on the wagon without ever having breathed the air of western PA.

cause even thought i hate them they do have better

qb
rb
wr

because there recivers like holmes are beast down field we dont have to much of that , they have 1 rb that gets it done unlike us they dont need 3 to run the football, qb worthlisburger sucks but i wouldnt mine having him on my team if there were no other goo qb avialable.

Because most of the Steeler "fans" around here are invisible until the team has a winning streak. Then they turn up everywhere in their brand new jerseys.

I would take a guy from England who thought football was when you wear shingaurds and kick a round ball over Airhead Arians.

Turnovers and field position will decide much more than ESPN's "expert" predictions, ranking of positions, #1 vs #2 defense... When it comes down to it, they're playing football.

Can both sides of this game agree that ESPN usually has their collective heads up Tom Brady/Tony Romo/Eli Manning backside and get on with it?

He said he would personally take Cam over the Steelers OC. I agree with him and said I would take a guy who doesn't even understand the sport over Bruce "Airhead" Arians. I wanted to let him know it
