I find it hard to believe his source could be so right about one and so wrong about another. For what its worth I think this was an educated guess after for example seeing suggs at the building after knowing he was in miami not so long ago

I mean, half if this message board has suggested he will be extended this offseason. Its not like it takes some incredible source to deduce it.

But I do think its quite possible his source was wrong on the Harbaugh thing and correct here. It might not even be the same person.

Year 2: B 2 mil Cap 4 mil

Year 4: B 5 mil Cap 7 mil (A release her would save 1 mil against cap)

Year 5: B 5 mil Cap 7 mil (A release her 3 mil against cap)

That would be a total deal of 26,5 millions for 5 years

Way too long if you ask me.  Ideal contract to me is 3 years.

Hell yeah! I'm beyond happy we kept Suggs. I hope this is done to make room for Monroe

signing either of Monroe or Pitta right now, preferably Monroe first, would allow us to franchise the other and allow more time to work out the contract; we've been quite good lately at signing the players we placed the tag on

I'd like to sign Nick Hardwick who's rumored to be on the chopping block in San Diego due to being owed a 4M salary. Personally, I'd be all for that kind of signing. It was reported on Rotoworld.

Very interesting that it is through 2018, but that sure does keep him a Raven for life. I thought for sure Ozzie would have lowered the cap number more to something like 5 or 6 to really save money. Happy either way, waiting for the press conference to begin.

I'd trade Ngata before I would trade or cut Suggs. We could get more for him and would free up more cap space.

 

I'd keep Ngata but we seriously need to get that cap figure down even if we need to renegotiate with him too.
