I've really lost interest in both summer/Winter Olympics over the past few years..

Just seems ehhh

Prolly has to do mostly with knowing who will win before it actually happens and also not being able to catch every heat/round of each competition

They do kill it for you. If you can't catch it live they tell you to look away, right! Feel your pain you would have really loved it live. Life happens and so does.... Hang brother, it's really good, especially if like me you're 55. Downhill was vanilla back in my day, this is wild. Don't blame ya' a bit just love a fellow sports fan! Stay cool!

Halfpipe finals are Tuesday at 12:30 live but they decide to not show it until primetime on NBC Tuesday Night. Ugh why does NBC have to tape everything?

I guess they think we aren't capable of setting our own dvrs or something. I have to get up insanely early for work so I thought I'd catch some of the US women's hockey game...guess again.

Well, wow what a day yesterday. The Rooskies are out...eliminated by Finland. Honestly, I knew Finland was very capable of beating them. The Russians imo were crushed under the weight of all the Pressure of being the home team.

Canada ALMOST got upset by Latvia..that would have been just as big an upset as the Miracle on ice game.

So now,

Finland vs Sweeden

As good as the Canadian roster is, they just aren't looking like the freight train I thought they'd be. We have a very good shot here.

Im gonna go out on a limb and say that the gold medal game will be

Canada's defensive unit and depth up front was too much for any team.  There were some pretty absurd puck possession stats I saw directly after the US/Canada game.

We actually had sports bars and lounges open up at 530 AM for the gold medal game so people could go watch the game together and have some beers lol.

Yeah. Canada was absolutely stacked. So much that they probably only played at 40 percent of their potential in these games..and still beat everybody.

The US team losing 1-0 to them is nothing to hang their heads about.

Honestly, I've never been a Carey Price fan, imo he's a pretty average goaltender..I though that maybe the U.S's advantage in net would have been enough to even out Canada's power house lineup..and I was right to an extent. I just figured that the US could score 3 goals.
