Except he is wrong about the 3rd tiebreaker, considering we beat Philly and the Steelers lost to Philly. If we beat the Cowboys and the Steelers lose to the Titans, then assuming both the Steelers and Ravens win in Week 17 against their respective opponents, we win due to the common opponents tiebreaker.
I think he's assuming it wouldn't need a tie breaker in that case. If we beat the Steelers and Cowboys and they lose to the Titans it won't matter as we'd be ahead without tiebreakers. I can't see either of us losing our last games (Browns and the Jaguars?)

Agreed, if the final weeks are meaningful to either the Steelers or the Ravens, I don't see them losing to the Browns and the Jaguars respectively.
Pretty sure I saw an interview with Jeff Fisher saying he didn't plan on resting his guys until possibly week 17 at Indy. So the Steelers will be getting a full dose of their run game and defense. Besides, gotta think the Titans are gonna wanna show who they are with another victory over a quality opponent.

As far as common opponents as well, don't forget that we beat the Eagles and the Steelers lost to them, that will factor in as well providing we even need to look at that as a tiebreaker.
Even if the plays them...will they give it their all? that is the real question

That is what I suspect as well. Although the players will be in so as to not get too rusty, I doubt they'll be doing everything they can to win the game. I guess Fisher has no choice but to put in his guys against the Steelers; if the coach didn't play them, the Titans wouldn't see any gametime action for a full month.
